I think its ridiculous how they are upping the price but only giving members a measly 10GB download limit when for near enough the same price you could be going with Sky, Virgin Media, BE that offer a generous limit (40GB all the way up to 300GB)
I have no idea what AOL plan I am on but as I'm a 'long serving' customer they offered me a deal of £19.99 for an Unlimited service. I check my bills every month and indeed they do add a "Unlimited add on" that adds £0.00. I have no idea what the fair usage policy cap is though.2013 - Buffalo 500GB Portable Hard Drive, £15 iTunes card, Cadbury's Selection box

I'm with Talktalk also had email this evening £9.99 up to £20.49 ! I see a mass exodus on the horizon.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0 -
This price increase of 30% in real terms is outrageous. The lady I finally reached in Waterford (Ireland) blamed the increase on BT increasing their tariffs to AOL / Talk Talk...!!! It is time to vote with our feet. I have been a loyal AOL customer for more than 15 years, despite a serious deterioration in service quality since Talk Talk took over. We are also on AOL £14.99 a month and have been for at least 6 years and also received this email, so we rang up last night to get our MAC code and they were just not interested at all, said it would be with us in 5 days, (I don't believe they will send it). I have also received a bank statement this morning, and for some unknown reason AOL have charged us £15.98 this month, so I have emailed them to find out why it is a little dearer this month.0

What's the best course of action if you don't receive the MAC code? I can see AOL getting really tight over this if so many people want to leave.0

Well I've been with AOL 6 years Never had a problem till now, 14.99 up to 19.99 = 33.4% increase, my view is not to panic because you may jump to other provider that may put its prices up in a couple of months, I'll wait until after the Holidays , by the Way Dont use the 0844 number if you have a package with free calls use 01179191103 sales + billing.
I thanked the Indian operator for providing no customer service what so ever!0 -
"for some unknown reason AOL have charged us £15.98 this month"
This will be due to the 0.99 soon to be 1.99 surcharge for not using DD payment; I've so far failed repeatedly to get them to move me from credit card to debit card, so ended up paying more last month due to their ineptitude. Or is it deliberate, to screw even more dosh out of the captive punter?0 -
"14.99 up to 19.99 = 25%"
According to my calculator, adding £5 to a current fee of £14.99 = 33.4% increase. Kerching.0 -
I was beginning to think that I was the only one with AOL who got this email, I am a long term customer, been with them almost 10 years have been paying £14.99 now told it will be £19.99, not at all happy, still have about 7months of an 18month contract to run.
I would not mind so much if I got a good service but the best I get is about 2Mb and in the evenings it's just so slow.
We are on a small exchange with no LLU so we don't have much choice of providers.0
