Last night was such a laugh and I only spent £17.50 which covered wine, munchies and a cab home. Next time, I am driving because I have felt really, really drained today. I can't manage my booze anymore! haha Ohhhh the joys of getting old!
Chappie came over and we had a mooch around town. We went into TKMaximus and I bought two dishes to add to my le crueset (sp) collection - £18 as opposed to £41. I really like le cruesett because they are long lasted and dead easy to clean.
We ate at Nandos but he picked up the tab - urghh! And vegged at mine before he went home. Was a lovely day tbh.
I sooooo don't wanna go back to work tomorrow.
I am planning on lots of no spend days this week because I have meal planned and have packed lunches covered. I need to buy chappie a bday card and prezzie and bake him a cake but I am going to do that on a planned shopping day - method in the old madness and all that jazz!0 -
Oh I just love le creuset!
Have got a kettle to go on the hob, couple of ramikins, couple of dishes, and my favourite piece which is a small cassarole dish. Wish I had bought a bigger one as I use that for all my batch cooking and sometimes gets overfilled! What colour is yours? I got the grey-blue set.
I need to get my kitties some collars but don't know if they will wear them. They are both chipped though. They are 10 months old and still haven't let them out the house yet properly!First I need to get a catflap so they can come and go as they please and I want to get one that recognises their chips. They have recently been spayed as well, and I could not let them out a couple of months before that as they were in heat. My friends say just kick them out! But the weather has been awful!

My casserole dish is my favourite as well! It's brill! Mine are black and my aim is to slowly replace everything in the saucepan cupboard with the range.
I have given up with replacing my girls collars. She is really savvy and streetwise. She is chipped though.
The collar I bought yesterday said 'I am microchipped' which is fab because it means one less blingy item to add to the collar. My kitten was a s0d to begin with but he is fine now. He must have forgotten about it! Mind you, I did remove the bell. In my opinion, bells only serve to annoy the owner. My girl stalked a fly in my front room and she moved from one side to the other without the dam n thing making a sound.
My kitten will be 9months in a couple of days. I let him out in the yard but under supervision. He isn't roaming for a few more months yet. I'm being soft though - he was in bad shape when we got him you see.0 -
I know I should get mine out, and should have done sooner, but there are a lot of big cats round here, all guarding thier teritory! mine are from different litters, one is really quick and agile and I have no worries that she will do fine out there. My other one, although she came from a farm and was born outside, is much less savvy, not very quick and often falls off things! I would worry about her although she loves snuggles so hopefully will not be out too much! She is also very scared of anyone but me and the OH!
My kitten took her bell off and now bats it round the floor![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

It's ironic really because I'm soft about my kitten when he is from feral stock line one of yours. He was found on my friends farm and his mum is one of the ferral farmcats and the dad? Well, no one knows about him. When he was about 4 months old, the scary tom from down the road jumped into my yard and my kitten went beserk! He was hissing and snarling and all of his fur stood on end. He even jumped in front of me so that he was in the middle. Bless. I know that he will be ok but, because I am soft, I don't want to let him go roaming until he is a bit bigger. He is verrrry soft with my chappie and I but he is the type to pick on the wrong cat!0

Sounds like a great weekend was had
Good luck with the NSDs, though you sound pretty prepared for them0 -
Today was a NSD - wahey! - and pay days is three weeks on Friday - Bring it on! I can't wait for payday. I know that I only got paid last week but ...
Tomorrow is my freelance day and I have a mega commute ahead of me. Have to be in at 8.30 so I have to leave at 7. I finish at 4.30 and will be home at 6ish. I'm hoping that chappie is coming over as well because he has the day off.
Have to get petrol tomorrow in the morning as well.
Right-e-o need to get ready for tomorrow and clean up. I'm shattered and can hear my bed calling me. Will be in bed before ten. I hope.0 -
That is a stinker of a commute. I had to do that sort of journey every day at one point, sometimes 2hrs each way, very draining.
3 and a bit weeks till next payday for me too!!!!!!!!!![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

It's been a funny ole week and I haven't really been in the mood to update. Omg. There is a fire engine outside my house. BRB! Bet those pesky kids have been up to no good. Again.
Tuesday - spent £17 on petrol and updated my sig
Wednesday - went to the dentist - eek! We also went out that evening and I spent about £15
Thursday - we had a chippy tea and I spent about a tenner
Friday - spent £55 on his bday prezzie and £15 on random tat in Sainsbury's
Saturday - spent £4 on ebay postage
Sunday - spent £20 in Costco (bday prezzie, chopped tomatoes and choccy
I have spent a fr igg ing fortune! I am on a total spending lockdown this week. I have £25 in my purse and it has to last this week. I need petrol and, maybe salad stuff but nowt else!0 -
Jobs for the week
- Ring Sky to sort my bill out. In September I was paying £15. It then increased to £20 and now I am paying £20.50. This was done without any written notification. My bad for not noticing it sooner. If they don't reduce it, then my account will be cancelled. The words 'jog' and 'on' spring to mind.
- Complete all survey invitations. I have 75 emails in my inbox and, the majority, are survey invites.
Meal planning for the week
This week, work-wise, will be a killer week so I am eating courtesy of the freezer. My chappie is coming over on Wednesday and I haven't got a clue what to cook. I have some chicken breasts in the freezer so I will butterfly them but I don't know what to serve them with - maybe salad. Oh, I dunno! It is our anniversary on Friday and I am going to be stuck at work until 10pm and there is nothing I can do about it0
