I am home for a couple of hours before I have a meeting at 8.30pm. Oh my days, I need my bed!
Nipped into ASDA on the way home and spent £27 on cat food, washing powder and bits. I'm meant to be saving it, not spending it! Anyway, freelance day tomoz - much needed pennies.
I'm having quesadillas for tea tonight but I'm jazzing it up with homemade salsa. Yum!0 -
Hiya
Sounds like your doing well but try not to get too overwhelmed by everything. You will get there!

Thanks, it was lovely!
It is easy to be overwhelmed by it - it is such a blooming millstone!
Urgh!
I rang up Sainsbury's bank today because I wanted to know the oustanding balance. If I paid it all off today, I need to give them £6609.42. I borrowed £7500 almost two years ago so this means that I have only shifted £890.58 despite paying £128.42 every month. This is pants. I have been on the snowballer and, according to that, if I pay £250 a month it will be gone in two and a bit years. As soon as the OD and CC have gone I am pouring all of my energies into getting rid. Bring it on!
Had to buy petrol today. I put £16 and it should last until the middle of next week. No more spending now!0 -

Hello, basically, I was foolish and under the spell of my no-good ex who ended up emptying my savings account and left me high and dry. He was one of those who, despite earning heaps more than me, only went out with a tenner - if that. I'm a 50:50 girl but he was a 90:10 fella. Jeez, I was an idiot back then. Much stronger and wiser now! Looking back, he had the gift of the gab and I was a prize turnip!0

It has just gone 9pm and I am **finally** home from work. I'm tired but wide awake if that makes any sense.
I haven't been paid for my second job and it has really p155ed me off. I will ring them tomorrow lunch time. I submitted my time sheet on time as well. Had no email, nuffink about it.
Today is my second NSD of the month. I am hoping that tomorrow will be my third. I'm having my hair trimmed on Saturday and I am hoping not to spend anything on Sunday but I will probably need to nip to the shops for packed lunch stuff.0 -

There is something so unattractive about a man who won't pay his way, what a skinflint! Very much so! I tell ya, never again! I kept my current chappie at arms length for ages until I realised that he shared none of the tw unts (my polite name for him!) character traits!0

So far, I have spent 51p on a stamp and I am not intending on spending anymore pennies today. I also reclaimed some expenses from work (only £5.90 but every penny helps). I also cancelled my subscription to experian as that was £7.99 going down the drain. I haven't telephoned Sky yet but I have telephoned about my missing wage. They said that they would ring me back after 2pm - well, the chap I needed to speak with wasn't there. They better had because I am owed £170 (after deductions)
I have the news on. Seeing the Tsunami race across the land whilst there are people driving their cars trying to escape it kinda puts things into perspective. I might be in debt but I do have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my belly. I also have a doctor, a dentist and an optician. Being frivolous, I have a hairdresser and gym membership. A loving fella, a job and three furbabies can be added to the mix. Too many people have lost too much today whilst I haven't lost anything at all.
ETA: They rang back and it has all been sorted - phew! I know I'm ace (LOL!) but I ain't working for nowt! Okay, time to go volunteering, then I am back home for 90minutes before I am back at work. Production night - last one. I won't be home until late but my chappie is cooking my tea. It is hard to believe that we met a year ago today. I have no idea where the time has gone. It's wierd because when I met him I didn't like him at all. It is amazing what a bit of persistance does haha0 -
Corr what a manic few days. My best friends fiancee passed away suddenly last week. It is a very messy story but she only found out on Friday - a few days after. She is in a state. Anyway, I rushed around there and ordered pizza for everyones tea. I took the money from my bills account as I knew how much money I had in there. I also needed petrol so I have to update my sig in a min.
I had my hair cut on Saturday. It is far too short and I feel nekkid. The usual girl who does it is on maternity and her replacement is too scissor friendly. Eek!
Today was spent at an uber post restaurant in town as it was his parents anniversary. His father called me by my chap's ex gfs name!! I pretended not to hear and am putting it down as a senior moment. Those two ended years and years ago! And under bad terms as well (she has a drink problem and a heap of other issues - I did my research).
GOALS FOR THE WEEK:
~ gym three times
~ apply for as many FT perm jobs as advertised (found one already)
~ put things away once I have finished using them
~ get up-to-date with my uni work - I will stuggle as I am wayyyy behing
~ change my mobile phone and tariff
~ eat healthily
~ min of four NSD's
12 days to payday and counting!0
