She is keeping busy but I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone cry like that in my life. We are all rallying around her so she isn't on her own and is eating/drinking but it is such a shock. It has made me realise that we should cram as much into our lives as possible and ensure that we have a will in place.0 -
i'm sure in the coming months she will appreciate all of your support0

Oh that is so awful for your friend, also stressful for you. I guess one thing is that events like this make us realise what really is important in life though. x[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Hiya, I am now - thanks for askingMy kitten went missing earlier in the week so I have been patrolling the streets, getting up at 2.30am to go look for him. He rolled home without a care in the world! My legs are still caning from all of the walking - eek!
My friend came over - the one who lost her chap - and she seems surprisingly ok. Tbh, I think that she is focussing on the funeral so she might have a setback after it. She talked about going into therapy for a while which I think is a brill idea because she lost her dad not too long ago.
Jeez, why is it all doom and !!!!!!!g gloom??!
My spending went off the rails as I spent £100 on a new mobile. I decided to get with it and invested in an iphone4. The tarriff is slightly cheaper so it is win win as far as I am concerned! It's ace. I put a few apps on it but I want an app that I can log my spending on.
I'm full of a head cold so I have declared today to be a pj day and everyone all around the world has to take part haha
Finally got paid for my second job. They must have thought that I was the queen of nags about it!
Have a good day peep and, remember, it's a pj day!0 -
Hope youre enjoying your pj day0

Oh I did thanks
I am almost up-to-date with my housework. Just got a few things to iron and I need to hoover. Again. Ruddy cat hairs!
I get paid on Friday - yayyy!!!! I was also paid from my second job but all the money was split between various things - savings, bills and the dreaded CC
We went out today and I bought a summer skirt from TK Maximus that was £15.00. It's lovely.
This week I shall be eating courtesy of the freezer so no meal planning per se.
I had four NSD's last week so I need to top that. I will need to buy petrol this week so I will tailor any spends around that.
I did some surveys today and finally hit the paypal targets so I have £15.00 winging its way to me - yayy!
I have been thinking about my payday month goals. I went over my grocery challenge so I need to blitz that area. I think that I shall start giving myself pocket money which is a bit wierd when you consider that I am 23 with 11 years experience (I struggle with my real age!). If I give myself a tenner everyweek to keep in my coin purse so, if there is a Cream Cake Emergency like there was last week then it won't eat into my shopping budget. Method in the ole madness!
I am also switching supermarkets as I have really gone off Asda. There is a Morrisons near me that seems to have some good deals and I think that the quality is better.0 -
Well done on the survey money!
Re the budgeting, I think you are doing really well. I found that budget and meal planning / shopping etc takes practise and refining until you find the perfect mix. I took out a tenner on Friday to buy lunch at work (first time in a looooong while) and have decided to keep some change handy in case I do fancy a hot luch, or indeed a 'cream cake'! Its a good idea, not realistic to stick to an empty purse![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59
