Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was NSD number 2 for me, so I'm off to a rolling start this month - although I have to admit, I've almost been caught out by a couple of weak moments, but managed to resist the urge to splash out on unnecessary spends at the last moment - phew, a lucky escape!
Hope everyone is keeping warm and aren't suffering from the cold too much. Goodluck to those who are snowed in and fed up with the snow - hopefully it will ease up soon for you ... Jinty, perhaps you can leave a lil cherry message in the snow for your humbug neighbours
... :rotfl: Sorry! I couldn't resist it! It certainly made me chuckle! Just goes to show how low my sense of humor is - I know, it's very sophomoric of me, but it gets me through life with a smile!
Have a good day everyone and good luck collecting NSDs!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Good morning all,
We've not had anymore snow overnight, but I've just been out with doglet and it has been freezing overnight. We have bid icicles hanging from our roof!
Just waiting to hear how OH is planning to get home today, loads of trains have been cancelled.
I am just sitting tight, I aint going anywhere in this.
We were meant to be going to the panto tomorrow night with my M&D,(oh no we're not)
but I managed to change the tickets so we're now going on 2 Jan. ( Oh, yes we are!:rotfl:)
As I had already spent yesterday, I ordered my BIL's Christmas present online, so that is all my present buying done.:j Did it via cashback site so that was good.
Today will be an NSD as I will have to wait till tomorrow for OH to go with me to SM ( on foot)
Chris and Beanie - I love your smilies - I dont know how to add them, could you tell me?
Have a lovely day everyone:) Stay warm and safe:)

Thanks Cheryl and Spoony, I don't go often enough to the florist to ask for paper
but visited Eb0y and ordered some (17 pence per metre), got some rafia paper. Will post pictures once I have finished them in the hampers thread. Off soon to Taste of Christmas in London

Jinty - that was a lovely offer to your neighbours, shame on them for being quite rude!
3Dogs - lovely to hear your Mum is doing well.
Chris - hehe, that made me giggle.
More blinkin cold germs here! Fed up big time with these colds. Seems like we all get through it then one of us starts sniffing again
Anyway, DH popped out of work to take DS and DD1 to school so DD2 and I are still in our pj's!!! No chance of me going out to spend so today is NSD #1.
Hope everyone is well.

Just waiting to see how OH is going to get back, Beanie, looks like the trains are a no-go, hopefully the airport will remain open so he might get a flight. The problem is he has to work till 12 before he can get away - madness!
Got fingers crossed he'll get home tonight:)
I'm fed up, too, but getting on with reading my pile of library books!
NSD #2 for me please, not spending in real or virtual shops!;)
