Well, change of plan today, didn't go out after all so number 1 NSD firmly in the bag!
DS school closed yet again but of course I still had to get up at ten to seven in case it was open, and they didn't change the school answerphone message till about twenty past. Consequently the Nargle went into hibernation at around 2:15 this afternoon for about an hour. And I will have to get to bed early tonight as I have to be up at the crack of sparrers tomorrow for work. And the day after.
On the bright side I get a lie in Sunday. Probably till about 8 am. At which time I will get up and veg on the sofa with a cup of tea and playback of Strictly Come Dancing. Might sneak a choccy biccy or six while I'm at it.... (ye gods, what an exciting life I lead...)One life - your life - live it!0 -
YAY number 2 for me today. Tomorrow will deff be number 3 as I will be at work all day then straight to pick DS up from nursery and then I am pretty sure it will be straight home and into pj's
Not feeling 100% today - DS has been a bit iffy all week (not sleeping, sore ear one night, really bad cough for 2 nights................) and I think I've finally caught it
Hope everyone else is feeling ok and those with snow are doing ok and keeping warm xEmma

NSD - target 18 days, so far 5!!0 -
Helloo everyone, hope everyone is well.
2 NSDs so far, unintentional ones though. Yesterday was my day off and had so much planned, was going to start my chrimbo prezzie shopping and we didn't even make it out the house, as we looked out the window and were greeted with blizzards. Today I was meant to run down to argos before work and collect and pay for a digital camera I had reserved, but yep more snow so that was that.
It's meant to be -10 degrees here tonight, will have to dig out the extra blankets brrrr!
Off to jump in my fluffy pjs and flop on sofa with a hot choccie, have a good night everyone x x x0 -
NSD NUMBER 2 for me please Spoony - at least this snow is good for something  I did manage to get the car dug out today, with my brother doing the shovelling, so I took my sister, neice and her oldest girl to the care hame to see mam. It's only the 200 yds of Mam's street that is a problem as from there the main roads were clear, though ice would be a problem now
Mam was cheerful and, again, ate a whole full size Magnum :j - she loved seeing her greatgrand-daughter too :TMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Woohoo! One down for me, mostly thanks to the snow but they all count!
Tomorrow will be a NSD is the snow keeps us home, but I'm hoping to make it to a toddler group with DS so that will be a very low spend.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Evening all
NSDs No 1 & 2 in the last 2 days, thanks Spoon.0 -
Day 2 of the month, and a second spend day for me
Decided I need to get some mince cooked up into meals this evening/tomorrow morning (planning some bolognese, some chille, some mince and onion from the 1kg mince - which will also be padded out slightly with rehydrated soya mince), so have been back out for the veg to pad it out further (peppers, mushrooms and carrots, and I also picked up some Whoopsied cherry toms to chop and add to the bolognese - I already have onions in the house, as well as finely chopped leeks and celery in the freezer which need using up).
Also picked up some Fr@y Bentos tinned pies (used to eat these regularly around the time I had my eldest, who turned 27 today!) which are on a 2 for £2 offer - and as they have a 2012 date on them they make ideal cupboard stock pile items (plus the calories in them make them ideal to eat after a run of 5 miles or more, when I can 'afford' a full one rather than eating half one day and reheating the other half the next day)
Then a few pieces of 'special' cheeses, a cooked chicked fillet, and a seeded baguette - all from Whoopsie areasCheryl0 -
