  • I can happily report yesterday as being NSD 1
    Hooray!
  • Hi all

Well it looks like it is going to be no 3 for me today as I'm not going out in the snow and we don't need anything. However, tomorrow may be very different as the OH wants to go out for the day....may be he can do all the spending!

You're the first person I've "met" who likes dates.. seriously. Everyone else I know buys them because they're a Christmas thing but they end up throwing them out in June:D:D

Helloooooo, another date lover over here!! :hello:I just lurv 'em!!! You have got me craving them now...went to my tub...and there's none left!!! So guess what's been added to the shopping list!!!

Had NSD no 2 yesterday :j, but been shopping already today - speding birthday money @ Hobbycraft...dangerous!!!!

Heading off now to post the Canada parcel and hunt for a frame for the cross-stitch I have done for my sister...can't find the right thing on-line, so hoping a "local" (12 miles away) needlework shop has some still in stock....should really phone, but will be doing other shopping there too, just needed the excuse to go today! :D

Hopefully we will have an NSD weekend, so starting off the month well...sooo far! :)

Just an update re the rude neighbours - the husband caught me when I was going out with the dog and apologised and said they had been caught unawares and appreciated me ringing their bell. I think the story on the news re that poor elderly couple in Cumbria hit home with them as he said - "it's nice to know that there's people here that care about the older folks". Feel a bit better now!;)
OH is on a plane home! Thank goodness, I've been worrying all day about him getting home!:)
