I have contacted them re my missing earrings and this is what they said to me

Thank you very much for your email.
I am very sorry for this delay and inconvenience. I have just asked the salesperson in charge to chase this up with the supplier. Thanks for your patience.
If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to email me. Thank You for choosing Pigsback.com.
    Kind Regards,
    Dan.

So hopefully some time soon my earrings will arrive. Hang on was that a flying pig.;)

I haven't written to them since PB folded. Do you have the impression that it is now a one-man band?

The emails I've been getting have all been signed by "David" and the post above mentions "Dan" - no idea if these are real people, wouldn't surprise me if it was just one person using fake names though! It takes them long enough to reply, I guess it would take forever for one person to go through all the complaints they've been getting.

Maybe, but maybe not many sales equals not many complaints! Hope you both get your points back soon. Then you can join me (and no doubt many others) revelling in the excitement of choosing how to spend them again!

  • No reply yet... again... what can I threaten them with if they don't give me a refund?! Any regulatory bodies? Small claims court? Doesn't have to be something I'm going to follow through with but I want to make my emails sound more serious because right now Dan and Davey boy are probably sat in their little tinpot "office" having a right good laugh about my moaning.
  • not been on this thread for a while and I am now glad I took up the handbag offer when they first changed. I agree the p and p was £6 but I had a great new handbag for my daughter worth more than the £6. I know a few people said it wasnt worth it but I see things have got worse not better. I don't know if the rest of my points are still there but I only had a few.
I am so sorry that these people have swindled so many out of points(money). I can't see any way to stop them now.

My earrings actually arrived yesterday, can't say I am ecstatic about them but at least they have come. I think it is about time to say goodbye to pigsback. It used to be fun especially reading all the quips on MSE that the members posted. So thank you to all who posted.

The end is even, erm, nigher.

The Megadeals now include the Irish offers, priced in euros. There is only one UK offer priced in sterling (and none sold).

Those of us with some Pig cash left had better be prepared to say goodbye to it very soon.

Hope you weren't counting on repaying your overdraft with it. :(
