  • I can still log in but my balance is only £5 since they converted from points. Is there anything I can do with just £5? as I am not prepared to give them any money on top of that.

I have purchased the earrings recently advertised so wonder what marvellous bargain I will receive going by what others have said about their items.:D That will be me sorted with Pigsback;)

Still waiting for the wonderful earrings to arrive, but it has only been 2 weeks so we can't expect miracles.
  • I'm still waiting to hear back about my refund... I asked Megadeals for the company's contact details so I could chase up my refund, but instead of that, Megadeals replied and said they would look into it. I did think it was wrong that I had to sort out the refund directly from the company myself. But that was 10 days ago. Looks like another flipping email is in order. How hard can it be to just send me the tenner by Paypal or something and be done with it?

You're not dealing with a normal company here. If you look at how many of each offer they have sold, it is plain to see that they aren't selling anything like enough to stay afloat. Is anybody getting an email from them, when they add a new offer? I'm not. I should be, if their marketing was doing anything.

That said, I'm having difficulty when I deal with ANY company. The customer service pages on their websites are designed to put you off, denying you any information that would actually allow you to complain, unless you are unusually persistent in searching. Top of my chart today is TalkTalk ...

did anyone order and receive the Shamballa Bracelet that was on their site mid December.
I have chased twice and still no show
  • They've stopped replying to me now and I'm really hacked off.

To say that I can no longer buy vouchers with my points, and can only buy their deals instead, is one thing.

But to take my points as payment for a deal and then never send me the item or give me the points back to use on something else is theft, plain and simple.

Any ideas where I can go from here, given that 'MegaDeals' won't reply to me? :(

Only two "megadeals" there now - and one of those has no sales, the other just four. There is no way that this can continue.

Very sorry that some of you lost your points. Actually, the rest of us have, too, as we've never ordered anything. In my case, £18.28 down the drain. Feel sorry for all those former employees of PB, too.

One day in the not-too-distant future, the site will just disappear, I think.

  • Well, they finally replied and now they've said they will put the points back on my account. I suppose in a way that's better than nothing - but to be honest I'm peed off as I already told them I won't use the points on another deal as they clearly can't follow through on what they offer (or they're just a bit fat scam). It's also not what they implied they would do - they made it sound like I would be getting my money rather than the useless points. So sick of this now. I know it's not a lot of money but I earned it and I want it!

I haven't written to them since PB folded. Do you have the impression that it is now a one-man band?
