I'm glad I always checked out points immediately, when I hit that 3k mark, I took my voucher and ran. I actually have more credits than points due to having just checked out, £5 starter balance, heh. Anyway that's it for me now, Pigsback has finally come to an end, in a way I'm glad, I've been doing it for a long long time. I'd just like to thank Pigsback for £420 worth of HMV Vouchers, 2 x Rugby World Cup Tickets, 2 Huge Boxes of Thornton Chocolates, £100 Skin Voucher, claimed my first voucher back in April 2007 and my last was 30th September 2011. Time to move onto something different perhaps, doubt they'll ever be anything available on Megadeals for £5 but i'll keep an eye out now and then just incase (:
Bye Bye Pigsback! and thanks0 -
I've sent my two pence worth via snail mail:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: MEGADEALS by Pigsback
I am, quite frankly, DISGUSTED with the way that the Pigsback site has suddenly changed with no warning to its members. I am not alone in my opinion, it would appear that these changes are now being discussed on the various consumer forums and blogs which I read and contribute to.
The very least that Pigsback members deserved was adequate notification of the changes to the site, including the changes to the points system, to enable them to spend any points that they had accrued should they not wish to participate in the new scheme.
My current balance is £11.67 and I had been previously hoping to collect £20 worth of points for a Marks & Spencer voucher. Had I been made aware of the changes, I would have redeemed my current balance for a £10 voucher in good time. The balance is currently WORTHLESS as the deals offered cost more than this, plus there is nothing in the least bit useful on offer anyhow. This also means that I have no chance of accruing any further points.
In resolution, I request that the full balance of £11.67 be paid to me via PayPal, cheque or BACS. Please advise which method is suitable and I will supply the relevant details.
Please be aware that I will have no hesitation to share any further dissatisfaction with the online community as the sudden change in your policy strongly suggests that Pigsback are attempting to avoid paying their members.

Fab letter, I think I'll do something similar, I was only 20 points off 6000. Certainly worth a try.0 -

Not impressed as seems now just to be sales site with link to kgb and groupon deals neither of which have offers in my area and the goods they have offers on not interested in,
Also no more click for points can only earn by referring people or purchasing now.
Preferred option to convert to vouchers
ah well such is life.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -
Luckily I ordered a HMV voucher last week. Really glad I did now. I`ll be closing my account as soon as that arrivies. The new site is terrible and now completely usless. I dont want any of thier megadeals0

I have just copied Missbushi's letter and will post it today. I have lost £15 and like her I was waiting to reach enough points for an M & S voucher.
Why didn't Pigsback at least warn its members that it was changing to Megadeals today?Born to shop;)0 -
