Glad to see that things are moving on for some people. :j

Our buyer has been a total nightmare this week, I thought it was all over. Our mortgage has taken a little longer than the norm because of a previous identity theft issue with my hubby's name, but told us on Friday all went through ok and survey on our purchase being done this week.

So I thought, that's great, but why no survey done by vendor on our house yet? So I called the EA to chase, and she called him, he was busy and said he call her right back. Then she called and called, and called for 3 days and he didn't respond - he switched is damn phone off.

We were almost at the point of putting the house back on the market, assuming he had changed his mind, and therefore face losing our purchase. And suddenly he has called the agents, keen as ever on the house but saying his mortgage has only just been sorted out due to the fact he is self employed.

Big relief for us, obviously, but why the hell put us through 3 days of worry, when he knows we've had two chains fall through this year? We can cope with delays, and my hubby used to be self-employed so we know it can take longer to sort a mortgage, I just wish he'd kept us informed. What's the betting there are lots more hiccups like this one along the way....

Wow .. congrats every little news is very good..

Yesterday, the buyers for our property we are selling to also said to the EA that they want to complete with in 2 weeks this would be great, but would rather just wait and see how it progresses... as anythin seems so fragile and anythin could go wrong...

    Good luck all :)

Our xmas tree is up, feel all xmassy now. Makes me smile, no chocolates left though so gonna get some more at the weekend, and have promised i wont eat any more..:o
