well basicaly its uyp to you to now bargain on the price, being a MSE ;) you shouldnt really be paying 15k over the odds
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

If that right I doubt they go down they did accept 146.500k until a supposly ex buyer came back on the scene 6 months later. I think the woman of house if motivated by money I just get that impression.

If it wasnt a bluff with the ex buyer then if we did drop out and they came back in assuming they did surely they would be in same boat?

Its possible we may get our buyer to do same to us, having paid over odds as I had two buyer both payinga sking price, so it went to a sealed bid

  • Sorry about the hassle everyone is having, though glad in a way I'm not alone. my deposit cash has been with my sol for 2 weeks, I've signed the contract and yet my vendor's sol won't return my solicitor's calls and the estate agents are being evasive.

My vendor is buying a repo so I would have thought this would have gone through much more quickly. I'm starting to think that he's getting cold feet about the place he's buying. I wouldn't mind if only someone would just tell me....

I've got to move out of my flat in a week so I am getting really worried now!!

This is the first time I've gone through this process and at this rate it is going to be the last!

Lynz, hope you have better news tomorrow. I will be at work running training all day, but hopefully will get a chance to chase things. Mind you I feel like all the calls today achieved nothing.

My understanding is that we are all waiting for the FTB at the bottom of the chain to give her solicitors substitute permission to go ahead with the exchange.

Hope everyone else gets on better tomorrow - big sympathy for Poppy cat, the one we are buying was downvalued by a few thousand that we had to find.
