After speaking to our solicitor 2 or 3 times a day last week, it got to 3pm on Friday, and I phoned her every 20 mins, and we exchanged at five past five...
:j WOOHOO!!!! :j
Completion date is set for Dec 15th, but this could be sooner depending on when the sellers can arrange their international removals. More relieved than excited at the moment; and I don't think we'll believe it until we have moved in.
Thinking of those who are delayed for another weekend....0 -

Moved on Wednesday, and since then been unpacking like a mad woman. It feels like home, and all my worries are out the window, so chuffed it feels like all my Christmases have come early. I love it, went to the local farmers market and it was amazing! Home made choclate, wild meats, veggies, unpasterised milk, cream, plants. Pub is fab, house is a dream.
Good luck to everyone else.:DPawpurrs x0 -

congratulations to those who have exchanged/who are in!
We are sat here stressing and just wishing it was all over. We have spent most of the weekend packing, not sure if this is pointless. We also put the Christmas tree up which shows how confidant I am. Can't sleep.
First thing tomorrow I need to ring the EA and get her to tell the other two in the chain that if we exchange by lunchtime we can still make Friday. It is only going to happen if we all push, and it feels like we are the only ones who are bothered. Weve not done any packing today. We have maqnaged to lose best part of the day having a hangover & snoozing - so thats good
Roll on tomorrow, when if we do exchange I will *fly* into actionbut if not Ill probably mill around on here all day and stare at the phone getting increasingly bad tempered.....

Sometimes I wish we had in laws to park the LOs on, toddlers are hell with a hangover so just not an option. Fun packing with them though....'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
is it just me & hex playing the racing/waiting game? Or are there any other poor unfortunates dangling in limbo? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
