Hi Toots All done today. Hope you are well and keeping warm x
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.
  • kaz inlaws are just weird. SIL will come here with her bratty teenagers and won't invite us there, unless DH is alone in which case its fine. She and MIL seem to think they are doing me a great favour by letting me "join" their family, well I've got one of my own, ta! Think its totally reasonable that sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander in your case.

greenbee is he still sorting out emotional issues with his missus or practical/parenting ones? If its emotional maybe he needs to be stuck back on the shelf for a bit (providing you're not pg) to sort himself out?

Flying wise, decluttered £84 to fix the dw, DH had left olive stones on plates which had then jammed the motor. AAAAARRRRGGGHHH! So much for delegation.

    hello everyone

first of all (((((hugs))))) to greenbee, nicki, kazw & vanilla; hope things improve for you all v soon

I think everyone is finding things a bit hard at the moment. Can we all be gentle with ourselves for the rest of the day please? I'm stressing about driving to St Albans tomorrow; I know the roads will probably be OK but I'd rather not go whatever the weather and I know that's colouring how I feel.

Zero amounts of flying done here today, which is annoying me, but something has to give, and today flying is it! :o It was -10 when I did the school run this morning and didn't get warmer than -2 all day. Our coal hasn't been delivered either

Greenbee (and anyone else who wants one!) I'm going to be opening the wine at 7.02pm precisely - as soon as DD is in bed - so join me?! I think after the stressful last few days you definitely deserve a glass or two. I'm guessing that OH is feeling sad about missing his kids, and having what sounds like a really awful journey back to your place probably hasn't helped his mood. If he were my OH I'd be ignoring him for a couple of hours until he'd got all that out of his system! ;) sending peaceful vibes your way.

    hugs

Toots please can I have another SNOWMAN? I've worked like a flippin' Trojan today!

Actually, that's why I'm so late posting - as well as the list, I had a gazillion beer scores to enter on the CAMRA spreadsheet, plus doing a wee spreadsheet detailing our medication, as I've needed Mr LW to dole it out a couple of times, and he had to bring all the packets through to me to talk him through it!:A

    Anyways...

    Happy Birthday Mrs Chaos.

(((Greenbee))) aww, it'll all come out in the wash, hopefully. Not an easy situation, I know. Toots has said it all far better than I could ever hope to.

(((Kazwookie))) sweetie, my reaction would've been something like: "and I'm supposed to care.... er.... WHY, exactly?"

It's Mr LW's birthday Sunday, so, snow permitting, we're going to the Boat at Stoke Bruerne for a meal (it's FUN - they have a stair lift upstairs to their restaurant).:D Also, he has Monday off, and is working from home Tuesday. So if I'm AWOL for the first part of next week, please don't worry, I'll be back, on catch-up mode, hopefully by Wednesday at the latest.:o

He has also said he's going to attempt to get the bedroom door done this weekend, so cue lots of cleaning up of woodworking dust again, methinks.;)

eBay free listing day 4th and 5th DEc - but you cant use turbo lister.

Got that email about an hour after I'd listed my two items

Still one has a bid on already which is great news. Might see if there is anything else I want to list though.

Stamps supplies are out at our local shops due to them coming from glasgow or not coming as the case maybe.

Hi all, my HHC overran a bit.:o

I have washed and dried and hung clothes.

Fed chickens lots of lovely chicken treats and caught OH who professes to not love them at all giving them some sweetcorn he'd especially bought for them.:D

    Hoovered front room and tidies.

Filled 3 bin bags of rubbish.

And da daaah the biggest job of all, I've finally got rid of about 10 huge boxes and packing material for ebay that has cluttered up our dining room for months. I just figured I'd get more when I need it.;)

I've also sorted and put in the proper places, other packing material, scissors, 2 pairs found, wage slips, scattered in various places, found some old photos that needed putting up, hung all coats, hats and bags up. Sorted books and placed them in a pile.:j

Relocated stuff that's been littering on our landing back in the bathroom.

Oh and had numerous more work related phone calls.

So all in all very pleased that I've managed to get so much done.

I'm now colouring my hair...to cover the grey.:o
