My boiler has broken down :eek: Been on hold to the company who its under warranty with for over an hour in total now. Been cut off twice. DD is curled up on the sofa with hot water bottle, under a quilt & fleece, wrapped up trying to stay warm. I've done all I can. Can't exactly fly with a phone attached to my ear, freezing cold fingers & no hot water.
Tidying up the best I can when I'm not trying to defrost with a hot drink. Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Mrs Chaos Happy Birthday
Kaz have a hug.
Greenbee have a hug too
Operation wheel complete
Got quite a few other presents sorted
I need to bung some food shoppping away and then school run time, the day has gone so fast. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Big hugs Greenbee xxx
One 17,000 word, 64 page dissertation proof read, edited and decluttered back to from whence it came. I'm going to rest my eyeballs with a half hour shut eye now I think...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

[FONT="]Afternoon everyone. I've had horrible day at work, I had 10 extra calls to make as one of the carers rang in unable to get out of her driveway. I managed with a bit of effort, (I'm very rural and on a slope, other carer in town on a main road:mad:). Finally make my way to her calls to have abuse as I'm late, I'm not the normally carer....Bla bla bla.
And I'm oncall this weekend so will probably have the same problems)
Anyway rant over, sorry:o
Manged to get some ironing done last night, I only have 1 full basket (I'm not counting the stuff in the TW!) Kids have made a cake today with DH who has left loads of mess in kitchen for me to tidy.
Bits for the winter car kit finally turned up today, so Tuesdays list is done now Can I have a snowman please toots.
Love hugs stick spoons & hot water bottles to those who need/want

Good morning all. I wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone on the thread as I feel that it's really helped me keep going this week. My house is looking much tidier and I seem to be getting tasks done that have been looming over me for a while.
