Nope no lists on the weekend....:D

Rhys's bed has been changed and remade for tonight, all his clothes has been sorted and dinner is on. Hubby in the bath so once he's finished i'll make a start in there. Thing i'll go remake our bed before dinner is ready.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

greenbee - glad OH is on his way- now you can talk face to face and sort things out - I think its obvious that you both feel very strongly about each other by what you are saying and you both just need to try to be considerate of each others position - i know that sounds very trite and obvious but sometimes we just need reminded of these things - i hope you work things out - dont even think about splitting up as you will regret trying to work through it together - thats what couples do remembeber - they work together and try to find compromises for whatever situation is causing the problem. I would seriously re-consider your trip - Edinburgh has been very bad - airport has been shut several times - Loch Lomond would be a no-no!!! (((hugs)))
Thanks toots... I think its all just getting a bit much for him. Talking and hugs have led to a bit of a meltdown. The Edinburgh trip is going ahead (well, assuming we can get a flight on Sunday night), but we'll be spending the week in the city rather than going out!
greenbee is he still sorting out emotional issues with his missus or practical/parenting ones? If its emotional maybe he needs to be stuck back on the shelf for a bit (providing you're not pg) to sort himself out?
Both... and it appears that the kids told him a couple of weeks ago (coincidentally, although he doesn't appear to have worked it out, just after he told his ex about me) that if he ever had a girlfriend they wouldn't want to see him again. Which explains why he's been so up and down for the last few weeks, and he's heartbroken - he thinks he has to give me up to keep his kids. Maybe a break would be a good idea, but I hate to think of how his ex and kids will be manipulating him in the meantime. None of them (or his parents come to that) seem to care about HIM. Just themselves... I'm hoping he'll get some professional help, but he doesn't see how anyone can help him. He's close to being suicidal (I told him it would create too much mess and hassle, so he's gone off the idea)

Greenbee (and anyone else who wants one!) I'm going to be opening the wine at 7.02pm precisely - as soon as DD is in bed - so join me?! I think after the stressful last few days you definitely deserve a glass or two. I'm guessing that OH is feeling sad about missing his kids, and having what sounds like a really awful journey back to your place probably hasn't helped his mood. If he were my OH I'd be ignoring him for a couple of hours until he'd got all that out of his system! ;) sending peaceful vibes your way.
I think a glass of wine is in order... might help with the cramps.... my GP has helpfully said I might a. be having a heavy period, b. be having an early miscarriage or c. still be pregnant despite the bleeding. OH is in bits, so I need to work out how to get him to hold it together and take things hour by hour. What seems to be upsetting him most is that he wanted to come back here and look after me, and has ended up falling apart :(

No, there are no lists over the weekend, you'll be pleased to know.;) Don't fret, it takes a while to get into the swing of it.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • greenbee major hugs, honey. Maybe if you're not pg he should go back on the shelf for a bit, then? If you are, he will have to step up to the plate and get himself sorted. Does he need GP for antidepressants kind of thing?

I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone.

Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Thanks... If I'm not, then maybe he should. I'm just worried about whether he will cope on his own, or just go back to his ex because of the kids, which won't make him happy. Hopefully he'll talk to my dad tomorrow, who'll be able to tell him if he needs counselling or ADs or what (my guess is he won't do pills). And I'm also scared that if I DO put him back on the shelf, he won't come back. But either way, we need to talk about it, as we have to work together, and have to travel together too, so we have to make sure we don't cause ourselves too many problems.

Off to feed him alcohol, then maybe put him in the bath. He needs to relax. (So do I, but I think my turn will have to wait...)

Auntie Wolfy's prescription would be a shared bottle of wine + bath.;)
Seriously, hun, I hope it all works out well.:o
