I don't do kids rooms, but I've had a very productive day wrapping pressies & sorting out what I still need to get. I've ordered some online too.

Do any Flyladies know what the roads are like round Chez-Vegas railway station, or the streets in York? Supposed to be going tomorrow with friends & I'm not quite sure whether to call it off or not.

Greenbee....been thinking about your posts and I wonder if any of these questions that you both need to ask yourselves are any help?


If today was your last day on earth, is your OH's the last face you'd like to see?

Do you believe you deserve love...lovely true love?

Is he your best friend?


Does the world seem 'just better' since you've found each other?

Your answers for you both are in your clues into which direction you need to go in.

His kids will grow up and have their own lives, possibly so will his ex...I mean meet someone else, how would he feel if he gave you up and his ex met someone and they were the love of her life and she didn't give anyone a backward glance?

I'm very lucky, I have my other half, he's my best friend, my love and we match each other very well, intellectually, professionally, socially, everything really...

However I'd be lying if I'd be saying it's been an easy journey, we've both pushed each other to the edge on occasions, testing to see if we're really committed, over the years there have been many tears and upsets, I have been villified by his first family, gawd knows why...I'm past caring, some people are really just bitter and twisted and having grown up in such a household I've vowed never to act like that.

There are reasons why you two found each other, there are reasons you met when you did and how our relationship has developed, the universe can only do so much to help you guys, some determination and a desire to accept that you truly deserve to be together, despite everything else, is what is needed now.

Greenbee hun - you need to be the strong one right now. Pop him in the bath, give him a glass of wine or two then feed him and let him just chill. Hard on you, I know but if you're looking for a long end game (with the right result!) then it's what you need to do.

A couple of gins have been decluttered next door with NN and the world put to rights. Off to make cauliflower cheese for dinner. Oh, and the temperature is rising here - we're at 6 degrees C - warmest it's been for about four days.... am just anticipating the flooding headlines as the thaw sets in...

Greenbee the kids are old enough to know that some relationships don't work and that parents move on, what would happen if their mum started seeing someone would they feel the same? I'm sure they would be fine in time. Your OH needs to concentrate on you and him and your relationship with no outside interference. I think this trip this week could do you both wonders, getting away from everyone. A trip to the gp might help him get his head around things to. I really really hope it works out for both of you's. xxx

Toots if i told or even blackmailed she'd huff with me. She's very very stubborn, i just can't believe she quit and not one word about it. I think if i hadn't asked her straight today she would have carried on pretending. Her hubby will know soon enough as they have a joint account and she's done this so many times before. I think all i can do is head down this week with a food parcel if she didn't get the loan, i'm not giving money as it's never giving back and used for silly things like magazines.

DD's bed made and she's tidying her room so hopefully i'll just have to hoover right through. Now i'm defo going to clean the bathroom, i've been putting it off all week. Dirty mare i am.:rotfl:
