Like Valli I come from a medical family and we've always had separate towels, but in this case I'd give him extra ones for his feet ONLY as well,
    That's a good idea!
I have a separate towel for my hair actually, because I have to wrap it - I cannot abide drying myself with wet hair dripping...
I regularly wash mine at 60 degrees, on occasion 90 degrees*
and bear in mind it's good for the washer to have to get this hot sometimes;)

    It's snowing again

*is wondering whether to disconnect phone tonight*;)

    HHC at 10 anyone?

    *towels not hair!

She made some but we ate one so she/i are making some small ones today for gifts for me/sis/cousin etc.

Am feeling quite festive, the snow is coming down heavily the local radio is playing chrimbo songs and my cat is stretched out in front of my fire.. something I have never seen him do before.

Have also printed off prep chrimbo list and card lists. Will annoy mum for addresses later for family ones :rotfl:

Think my black dog has gone to play in the snow and got stuck :j

will all this fit into my siggy?

'if it's fine I peg the line, at the moment we are under about 20" of snow and I have had to dig my way up to and into the shed, where my tumble dryer is kept, in order to dry my washing and, to be frank, I am fed up of the snow and I do NOT need any early morning telephone calls telling me my place of employment is closed on days I am not contracted to work. Snow day here (only had an afternoon booking), and no work booked for the rest of the week, so guessing I probably won't get any as it's set to freeze again tonight and is still snowing here. We have about 10cm I guess (just looking out of the window and estimating from the tops of the bins) and before all of the cars started going along the road (only the Polish guys have been brave enough and my Moon), I could see the tracks made by Ebony (cat) going across the road where he likes to go at night. Moon may be coming home early today but isn't sure when. I was meant to be going to the jewellers this morning to get my wedding band designed, but they are closed too.

So, as I'm home, I'm going to make the most of it, and have a tidy around. I need to do some washing too, but will have to wrap up warm as machines are in the garage outside. Ebony must've been cold this morning as he actually curled up under the duvet for a bit (he hasn't done that since he was a kitten).

I'm off to get myself a hot drink to warm up, but will do a HHC at 10.30 if anyone wants to join me?

me too... I have three towels - body, hair and face, plus a separate hand towel for sharing

ditto... towels and bedding (dustmites) are the two things that don't get washed on cool washes. Underwear and the odd other thing that needs a hot wash occasionally get chucked in with them too.
