Morning all flying folks,

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold here this morning, for a change :rotfl: Got the fire lit so soon enough it should start to warm through a bit. Well the living room should do.

I really, really want an elf, but mine would need to be magic as there is no one to 'assist' him while I am asleep. It really is a wonderful idea i bet it brings magic for the whole family not just the littlies.

Hmm, our weather forecast shows us under a big snow cloud for pretty much all of the day. A friend is meant to be staying with me from tomorrow night to sunday from Birmingham. He is sure he will make it but tbh i think it might be bad idea. Will have to see what develops.

Wash windows
Wipe all paintwork
Vacuum/mop all floors
Level three
Clean the bath/shower/loo's/basins etc
Wipe the cup rings and dust off the desk
Scrub down the tiles
Extras
Delete 50 unwanted emails
Defrag the pc and run a virus scan/spyware scan
Binbag dance
Write and post christmas cards!!

Okey dokey - I am off to drink more coffee and slowly wake up then ill be back later to gather some motivation,

My husband's school is open but the twins school is closed so not sure how much I will be able to get through today but might see if I can settle them to watch a film although they have a tendancy to not let me leave the room so can't see much getting done today.
If I can get the baby to nap they can 'help' me to do other parts of the house.

Declutter the floor of clothing and mess and shoes and everything else!
Strip bedding and replace with clean
Level two
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on the landing
Dust and deweb.. don't forget to do the lightshade
Polish windows and mirrors and any other glass/mirror[/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Fill a binbag of stuff to leave the house.. be it rubbish or clothing or bedding..
Sort out old makeup and toiletries.. think of all those germies breeding on the lip gloss you've not worn since last summer.[/STRIKE].
Have you written christmas cards yet??? Go finish them off!

Piggers hope you feel better soon!
Valli my psychic powers say your house may be a little blue .... Even we know you're not usually in on a Thursday !!!!!! silly personage!

I'm so bored! Waiting to hear Mam awake as I don't want to wake her up but 2 hours later I'm very very bored! We've had another couple of inches of snow/hail since yesterday afternoon - great - not! DP decided last night he's going to try to work tonight, can't say I'm too impressed and just realised if he takes my car I can't go to get Mam from work so we'll have to decide what we're all doing when he gets up. Men eh.... Oh it's snowing again and I can hear cars spinning their wheels, great it's started already.

Right today's list, seeing as I can't do anything else yet

Kitchen complete so I can have that star
Rearrange some kitchen storage to get the bulk buys in
Put kids laundry away for my third star
See if I can sort somewhere to put the sofa bed in DS1s old room to save awkward mornings - hmmm
Clear and clean bathroom

If I need to do nothing else today I should get all the above done! Unfortunately I think I will end up doing the headless chicken routine with family/neighbours making sure everyone is ok

DH off sick - stinking cold - DM still in bed! Creeping round.......
2 suitcases to unpack, and then lots of washing to do. Will have to walk to shops as I dont think I can get a car out.......still snowing here and lots of it.....
