Shysarah- Christmas Elves, there is a thread on the Christmas board. Basically a way of extending Christmas, elf arrives at start of Dec as a visitor from Santa. Some of them are naughty, others bring suprises - depends how much time the organiser has. My boys are 6 and 7 so a good way to sustain their interest without getting them over excited.

Not a huge amount done yet again, just waiting for the TD to stop so I can fold the uniforms for tomorrow just in case school is open.

No flying today as been out but it was Christmas shopping so don't feel guilty! (and met a friend!!) Will blitz big style tomorrow. I want to get me some stars! Going to have an early night as shattered. We don't have much snow to speak of and although I love it, reading the other posts i can probably do without it! I spent 3 years as a child in Scotland so know what its like. Great when you are 9 but not so much when a bit older! xxx

  • Is it just me who gets an annoying DH and kids who go around behind me and mess my jobs up before even a couple of hours have passed!
I mopped the floor monday and since then i have had yogurt, ribena, sticky bran flakes, spilt cereals to pick up/clean. I wont mention the worktop i guess you get the point.
WHY CANT ANYONE IN THIS HOUSE TIDY UP AFTER THEMSELVES!
Sorry little rant, any tips on how to get a (slightly lazy) DH (very lazy) 8 & 5yr old to at least make there packets go in the bin! I've considered going on strike but i still need to do meals etc for baby DD so my strikes not going to start off well when i'm spotted in the kitchen cooking.
I'm fed up of nagging everyone but also don't see why i should do everything.

Anyway hope everyone is coping with the snow, not too bad down south just a light covering weather repott keeps changing every 5mins so not sure if we have anymore coming or not. Was meant to be going out tomorrow not so sure now though!

    Hi Peoples,

Hugs, sticks, snowshoes to all in need.

Back safe from decluttering DD back to Uni in Farnham, 'tis a tad cold out there. :D

As an aside from all the talk of weather, does anyone know of a good foot wash/bath for fungal foot infections.
DH has a really nasty one, didn't bother telling me 'til tonight :eek:

So all the towels and wash cloths in the bathroom are now in a boil wash. He has been given his "own" towel and flannel, told to keep separate from others.
