List done.. for Thursday and friday.. nothing too hideous though.. I think I might be coming down with some germ or other and need to be battling that..

Would it be terrible of me to keep the 2 small pinks home tomorrow and take the witch to school? Assuming it is even open.. She has been heinous today and the smaller 2 are the ones with mobility issues anyway so couldn't walk there or back, they need full support to walk on snow/ice and if they slip could very easily dislocate something again.. and the car is fairly jammed in situ.

Hello everyone :) yes it's late what a busy day! Thankfully have not had to leave the house much and have not needed to drive. My Mum is asleep downstairs as she couldn't get home from work without muchos grief, traffic where she needed to go was queues for hours so I've made her tea.... while DP rescued her car she abandoned in the middle of the road and she's helped tonight by sorting a giant basket of socks :D I so hate that job as most of you know and when she asked if I wanted help with anything I jokingly said sock sorting and she said ok :D yay! It's always a wee bit awkward when others are staying of course, DP out of his routine and edgey. Anyway we've had a productive day, aching now but loads done. I've bagged all stuff for flinging in strong refuse sacks, which I hate using but second week of no bin collection and local tips closed its needs must!

Anyway the landing, stairs and hall is done so can I please have my star

I've got the kitchen to complete but the dining room is done so I'm half way to two stars!!! Boys room was finished apart from putting laundry I've now put in there in sacks, by DP today (don't all pass out at once) and he's put the curtain rail up I bought about year ago (get up off the floor!) so they have curtains up in addition to the blind so I'm hoping DSs will sleep a little longer now there is no 'gap'. DPs side of the bed cleared and sheets changed on my bed done too.

    Told ya we've been busy!

Tomorrow I've said I'll deposit Mum at work, she left her wells at work and Snow is above wellie height in a lot of parts now :( she had a 4x4 but it's not a very good one and has 'normal' tyres on it so she's been slipping all over the place. Then I think much of the same as today, boys are on snow days again and I want to get some more rooms finished off! Think Mam will be here again tomorrow night as she's working until late then in first thing Friday.

Hope you're all staying safe, oh here comes another hailstorm, great! Night night all xx
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning All

Another early one for me although I feel shattered but I couldn't get back to sleep after DH got up at 3.30. Tonight is the Christmas fair at school and then I need to sort and pack mine and DS's stuff for our Beaver sleepover tomorrow night. I'm going to be exhausted by Saturday night - may stay in bed Sunday - chance would be a fine thing. On a brighter note I don't think I coughed as much last night so maybe it's finally on its way out and I maybe rid of it for Christmas or even my birthday!

Going to take the dog out when DD gets up, DS already up and then I've said they can take their sledges up the fields with them.

Right I'll have a look at the lists and see if I've done anything on them - probably not a lot I've been shattered all week.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

We have snow! About 2 inches fell overnight. Most unusual for us so close to the sea. I don't think I'll be going into work this morning...

I need to nip outside in a moment to sort out the chicken enclosure. I strung netting across it the other weekend and it's now bowing under the weight of the snow on it! I shall have to undo the middle seam, let it all fall through and then stick the netting back together again....
