Sorry little rant, any tips on how to get a (slightly lazy) DH (very lazy) 8 & 5yr old to at least make there packets go in the bin! I've considered going on strike but i still need to do meals etc for baby DD so my strikes not going to start off well when i'm spotted in the kitchen cooking.
I'm fed up of nagging everyone but also don't see why i should do everything.
You have to be consistent in your requests for help
If you want it doing, keep calling them back until they do it properly
We sometimes have a Family HHC - set the timer, and get every member of the family (including your DH
) to do jobs until the timer pings. You then all get a treat - which they know about in advance.
You could give each member of the family a short list of jobs to do and a small prize for the person who gets them all done, properly, the quickest

Good morning everyone, it's been snowing again overnight but doesn't seem to be as cold as the rest of the country - although it's still really cold.
I'm going to York tomorrow to do some Christmas shopping. Does anyone live there? What are the walking conditions like around the town? I'm going on the train so driving will not affect me
I'm back from a lovely week away. I can't believe the weather though.
I'm pleased you had a good holiday, it must have been a bit of a shock seeing the weather after what you must have had!

We went in on Monday and there's lots of snow in the town centre. I wore boots, but would wear wellies if I went now, as it was a bit slushy and my feet got wet
Please let me know how you get on, as we're due to go in again on Saturday (Look round the college for DS, then shopping) and I'd appreciate an update :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Morning all
More snow overnight and snowing when I got up - big fluffy lying flakes!
One of my neighbours, think it's the taxi-driver who lives at the end of the cul-de-sac, digging out the ridge that has formed across the road from all the cars, vans, lorries going up and down the road - the road had been salt/gritted but not the cul-de-sac.
OK, breakfast, then find a list.0 -
Good morning all, just looking for a list(whether anything gets done is another thing!!!)0
