Just waiting on the kids to finish eating then i'll get the dw on. Hubby can empty the kitchen bin and one of the boys can feed the dog. Other boy can bring up dirty washing from their room. DD can clear Rhys's toys into playpen and then it can be moved for the tree.

Hugs to the poorlies and the stressed and the cold ones amongst us. No snow here - just the odd flake or two - but it's freakin freezing. Drove DD to her bloke's this evening (her car isn't well) and the roads were fine.

Another mind-numbingly boring day at work today - I almost cried....but resisted the urge - and the urge to just walk out. But I'm going to make up for the boredom by crafting DD an advent calendar out of little paper boxes. She tried to find one in town today and couldn't...

Off to research templates....

Still no word on whether DS2 or the small pinks are at school tomorrow.. Please God let the girls be at school!!!!!!!!!!
Table in back room cleared.. we even had room to eat dinner in there and Freja laid on the floor for a wriggle She is currently nappyless on a towel in the cot.. she has bit of a sore bottom so thought it might help.

I have a loaf in the bread maker and intend running up a couple more in case we need them.. I have loads of flour so can always sling another in but one in the freezer for immediate use is a bonus.. wish I had a decent bread knife though!! OOh.. *addition to christmas list* I feel REALLY cheeky doing a written list because I don't really NEED anything..

I need to transfer some money to DD1's account so she can buy christmas gifts for me and KH.. yes, I am that nice!! I did offer her some OOD chocs for him ((in the hope they would poison him..)) but she declined!

Downstairs looking reasonable.. and it is just reasonable as well!

Whoever is home tomorrow is going into the garden to build a snow rabbit!

Anyway, so much for our 'Let's go into town this week and finish the christmas shopping!!! GGggrrr I am still hoping to go Friday so the wrapping can be done this weekend without children still.

I lurve facebook just woke up from a little nana nap and loads of people from work are posting a number to call tomorrow to see if the office is open! and they closed at 5 today which is unheard of!!!! however thats the main office that i work at and there are other sites so if people can get to them safer they will still be open and taking calls. its just unfortunate that the other offices are newcastle and peterlee and both are further than the head office :j

My mum has bought DD a sledge and a hat with flaps to cover her ears. DD is now pushing herself around the livingroom on the sledge while wearing her new hat...this is the child who has been off sick today due to being ill all last night and most of today :rotfl::rotfl:

Just about to make some tea but not sure what to have Fall out may be an option (ie whatever falls out the cupboard/fridge/freezer :rotfl:) but I don't think anywhere is full enough to have anything fall out!

ajmoney thank goodness you got back safely and it was a 'nice' funeral IYKWIM- I should have realised it was for that family - very sad - the army should be putting on tracked vehicles for you all to get about - its madness!!!!

have had 12 phone calls!!!(so far!)
the phone call from NOF was to tell me she was being taken into hospital this afternoon by ambulance - she has too much calcium in her blood - can anybody explain that one?
