Hi all,
school closed again so DD2 having a lie in, work inaccessible and I was supposed to be heading to Norfolk today for work but obviously cancelled. Hubby is delighted he's not an operational manager any more and keeps saying so, just deciding what to do today really.
I think today will be a sort out finances day.
I have to open a bank account for DD2.
Claim my old Tesco vouchers back and convert before the 6th December as they revert to a 3 times the value rather than a 4 tmes the value...thread here for lost vouchers for those who have not yet checked.

I also have random paperwork, finances related to sort, and today seems as good a day as any.
My car was stuck last night, cat litter was the key, after digging out the snow round the tyres, I sprinkled some round each tyre and it gave me enough traction to get out.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I have a snotfest thing going on today so I shall be decluttering drugs in copious amounts.. and loo rolls.. good job I just stocked up!
Everyone home again today.. had the primary school been open only Mimi was going in anyway.
today I am decluttering children out into the garden to get freezing.. they can then all dress the chrismas tree which I shall wrestle from the cupboard while they are screaming and arguing over snow outside lol If we have time we have tree ornaments and paper chains they can make too..
They are ALL (bar DS2 and DD1) in the girls room playing with duplo at the moment.. wearing just thin cotton pj'.. no socks, no slippers and no even a dressing cake .. silly children!
I have no choice but to trek myself out.. ebay stuff to post and a shower hose has to be purchased.. I am desperate for a shower as is OHLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

IF you have a condenser boiler and it stops working pour HOT water over the pipes (outside) as the condensate (ie the water) will have frozen.
Sound advice, that was a problem we had last year, also told a neighbour to do just that last night
Morning all
Snow day here again although it took til 9.30 to get the parentmail text. Miss A was worried it would affect her attendance if she didn't get there and school was open! Huge sighs from her when the text came
I reckon it will be closed tomorrow as with the shear volume of snow (3 foot plus ) even if we get no more it won't be clear enough for traffic to get through.
Obviously I have not gone to work (15 miles away, can't get 15 inches never mind 15 yards or miles!).
Has been snowing quite ferociously this morning, big fat flakes.
Stay warm and safe everyone.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang
