Obviously I have not gone to work (15 miles away, can't get 15 inches never mind 15 yards or miles!).

You'll be having some time to be getting some stars then

Just checking in. As everywhere the snow is rather deep. Hens have made themselves a lovely snug igloo under the hen house.
I finished our room last night so Wednesday finished Toots!!

Spent almost all day making soup for the craft fair tomorrow to find it has been cancelled!! 3 massive pans of soup now to be decluttered to the freezer! DH and DS1 helped me with the cooking.
I hope everyone is safe and warm.

Not making much progress here. I have walked (trudged) to the shops and am knackered. Hard work walking in the snow. 1 load of washing done and half a suitcase unpacked. Just trying to sort out an online grocery delivery for DM for when she gets home - if she ever gets home!
I've not even been home 24 hours yet and I'm about to lose the plot :D

Well end of an era here. DB has just left to go back to Oz. I am hoping he and DH and DS1 can get through to the station. The flight is Sunday so he is taking no chances of missing it. It is only a 50 mile round trip from here to the station so not quite as big an adventure as Tuesday's trip out.

    Today's plan;
Make weezl's carrot cake (DH has grated all the carrots for me :D)
Phone solicitor again!!! How long can they hold onto our money?

Can I 'do' one bathroom each week? And s & s the others?

  • DD1 has measured the snow on the trampoline - there is 28cm! And York doesn't normally get much snow!

    Thursday's list done :j.

Have started on Friday's as DS2 is asleep in my bed after being up all night with a temperature. Should probably have a kip myself but daytime naps make me woozy for the rest of the day. Onwards and upwards. x

    Kitchen done!!!:snow_laug:D:D:D

DD's BF made out out of the close - but only with the help of some of the students, who pushed him up the road.

    Next door's husky loving it.:D

Everyone home today - OH still has a bad cough, and DS2's school closed too. DD and I are going to do some Christmas cooking this afternoon, then I fancy curling up with a seasonal movie.

Before that though, I'm going to finish off downstairs - cloakroom, hall and living room.
