Greenbee - I would be very unhappy about that too
I'm trying not to be absolutely furious that he risked getting stuck, but then I really didn't feel it would be safe for him to drive home last night in the miniscule rental car he's got at the moment (he went over for his oldest's 16th birthday last night), and I know that staying over was a sensible thing to do. I'm not coping as well as I'd hoped. I wanted to pretend I was OK with it, but have had a bit of a meltdown on the phone (his ex is listening in to all his phone calls, which isn't helping) as there is an outside chance that I'm pregnant (nausea, tiredness, cramps etc) but its too early to test (and I'm not doing that without him hear anyway!) and the timing isn't great as although he's told his ex about me, he hasn't told the kids, and I really don't think he should tell them till after christmas now.

Oh well... I suppose I should get on and get some work done...

we're due to go to scotland next week for a day's work, then a few days' holiday... doesn't seem like quite such a good idea in this weather though :o

I was exactly like this a couple of weekends ago and DH was only at his Mum's!! You are doing so well, you're keeping the moral high ground. Remember though you may not feel like it, you are a stong, independent woman who can manage all sorts of hard situations. Before OH, you would be painting your nails or putting fresh sheets on the bed, or planning a lovely social. Can you distract yourself? Otherwise, meltdown to us instead.

OH has left to go to his son's wedding, the one I am banned from........his mad daughter set off last night at 8pm with her hubby and 2 small kids, 3 yrs and 8 months to drive what she said was 3 hours to the wedding, ( I knew it would take her longer because of the weather)they finally got there at 3am, totally totally irresponsible, OH disagrees with me, and says she did righht thing as the kids slept all the way, as I pointed out what if they broke down.................

I would NEVER do that with my kids.

Really cross, went to town with DS2 to look at what he wanted for christmas. Went back to buy it today and it has gone up £20, needless to say I have not bought it. Trouble is online it is out of stock at the cheaper price
