Wednesday ~ Bedroom, Landing..
Level one ~ done
[STRIKE]Declutter the floor of clothing and mess and shoes and everything else!
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Strip bedding and replace with clean
[/STRIKE]Level two ~ done
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on the landing
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Dust and deweb.. don't forget to do the lightshade[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
Polish windows and mirrors and any other glass/mirror
[/STRIKE]Level Three
[STRIKE]Fill a binbag of stuff to leave the house.. be it rubbish or clothing or bedding..
Sort out old makeup and toiletries.. think of all those germies breeding on the lip gloss you've not worn since last summer

Have you written christmas cards yet??? Go finish them off!

1. Delete 50 unwanted emails
2. Defrag the pc and run a virus scan/spyware scan
3. Binbag dance
4. Write and post christmas cards!!

Friday ~ Childrens pits, spare or neglected rooms!
Level One ~ done
[STRIKE]Strip , wash and replace bedding
[/STRIKE]Declutter and vacuum the floor
[STRIKE]Spend half an hour on YOU!! [/STRIKE][STRIKE]
Make appointments for your christmas hair do, nail fix, hairy part waxed, fake tan.. whatever you need to do!

Dust and deweb

Wipe and water plants
De-fingerprint glass, screens, windows etc
Level Three
Write up your list of preparations for christmas that still need doing!.. presents, wrapping, cards, etc
MAKE CERTAIN THAT CAR EMERGENCY KIT IS READIED AND SORTED!!!

1. Wipe window sills and catches.. check they are locked!
2. Wipe remotes .. they cannot be any cleaner than our germ riddled keyboard!

To all of you getting a snow day just think of the positive side if you can - its an extra day to get some cleaning done or Christmas things caught up with - the temptation to laze about is great but you will probably get annoyed with yourself this time next week when you are still running around like a headless chicken!!!! well thats my view anyway!

keep warm and drink plenty to all those under the weather and I hope you feel better soon - you are better off at home just now anyway.

good luck to those keeping up with the ironing challenge and I hope the ones doing natty's challenge have worked out whats needed and are on track.

we have had a load more snow today so getting out tomorrow is looking doubtful. we are expecting to freeze tonight - minus 11 is expected and for tomorrow too.

I was very surprised when my cleaner turned up - bless her so the place is quite presentable and I am trying to not make a mess!

I'm running out of steam now. Only had a shortish lunch break since my last post and got lots done. Some furniture has been re-shuffled, our bedroom and DR look lots better. Also, I've been told that we are off again tomorrow :eek: (quite nice, as it's my birthday), so plenty of time to carry on decluttering. If DH is out tonight I'll stick on music and do some more, then. First need to think about tea. I really don't want to cook and have forgotten to take something out of the freezer.

Oh Greenbee that's such a lot to contend with and you've enough on your plate. You're rising above it so much better than I would in the situation. The whole kids in the car for a stupid amount of time for a journey in this weather just horrifies me, let alone the whole thing about you not being invited, and then OH being stuck as wel....Me? I probably would have lost the plot by now! Well done, I really admire you for the way you're trying to cope with it all. Huge hugs, and coping vibes being sent your way xx
