    evening everyone :hello:

done levels 1 & 2 so far... doing quite well for me ;) Just cooking dinner, and watching Kirsty - and while that's on I've just made a draught excluder :j:j from a scrap of fabric and some wood shavings! :money::money: Am rather pleased, there's been a big draught coming up from under the door to the cellar and now it's not there :D:D and it took about 15 minutes to do!!

JoJo - I agree with the others; hope DD's ok.
LW - how are you getting on with the varnishing?!

Toots - ahhhh, she needs a cuddle and there's me thinking the fact she has her head on my lap and I'm stroking her is enough!!!!!

I'm just sorting out photo's for Jinky the Christmas Reindeer who arrives tomorrow. I'm sadly excited about him coming back! xx
  • Dippy, mudbath and Piggers Thank you! I'll have a look at these suggestions.

mudbath - my pair refused to let Scrumble and Tumble go back last year, so they have Christmas monkeys coming tomorrow - thank you Mr PG Tips. Quite looking forward to it - looks like our school will be closed too. I am also refusing to drive, and I have a 4WD. We live on a hill that hasn't been gritted, and I just can't see the point.
Hope ajmoney is safe, and that Poohbears family have got themselves sorted - do you know where they are Pooh and can any of us help?
Pollybear - hope you are ok today.
Gotnodosh - my SSs remember and resent the barriers, threats and rudeness that their mother put in the way of their Dad seeing them (6 and 9 at the time), and her telling them that I was more important to him when I wasn't . If it was me I would do everything I could to facilitate contact, and make sure your DD knows that that is the case. If he is stupid enough to ignore you then at least you can honestly say to her that you have tried. My heart breaks for you and your DD - it must be so painful to watch the hurt he is causing her.

Not a huge amount done at home, have been at work, and that combined with two walks to school and back is enough. I have done the DW, and made a rather lovely steak and blue cheese pie for dinner but that is it. Need to try and put the DW back on, hopefully all at home tomorrow and I can try and catch up a bit. I mind there being stars and just not being up to it. Humph.

sorry guys had too many windows open.

JoJo = on Monday when we had to close the school no pupil was allowed to leave until the buses arrived or they could confirm that they had spoken to a relative if they were walking you seriously need to take this further please confirm when you DD gets back, should you want our school policy please PM and i will send it to you.

poohbear = glad to hear all are back

pigpen = you either need to have phone problems when you think he may do it again, keep very detailed notes or not pass on to the kids that he may be collecting them then they wont be upsent when he doesnt turn up and should he do then they get a nice surprise

My snow day has been wasted spent this morning walking around the village and taking the girls to school and then the doctors - DD1 fell down stairs at school last week and has been getting bad headaches the last 48 hours so wanted to get her checked out they think she has bruised her skull but need to keep an eye on her

This afternoon sat downto watch the local news at 1.30 and got caught up with afternoon telly (and didnt feel at all guilty for sitting doing nothing) so living room not touched but will do tomorrow as i have another snow day .
