I am going to try to get most things on the list done today. We did the kitchen floor yesterday so it just needs a quick wipe over.

Silly puppy keeps putting her paw on the keyboard so I have bits of text missing and can't sort it out easily as I spilt my tea on the keyboard and some keys don't work.:rotfl:

    Morning all :D

    Greenbe - Welcome back :D

    Thrifty- welcome back :D

I managed to catch the binmen this morning and asked them very nicely if they would take the extra bags of carpet for me and they did :D I love my binmen :D There were 5 bags sitting along one side of my bed against the wall which I couldn't get past without climbing, now I can and my room doesn't seem as daunting to decorate now ;):rotfl:

I've had to go under the stairs right to the back to dig out more paint rollers (I buy the packs of the roller refills and just use the same handle ;)) then discovered they were too big for my roller handle  So a little bit of newspaper and electrical tape for padding and I have a roller ready to use for the decorating ;)

    Monday
    - School run [STRIKE]AM[/STRIKE] PM
    - Phone CSA re: missing Nov payment (here we go again...) - Leaving until later so there's a chance something might be resolved today before I ring them.
    - DD to do HHC of violin practice
    - Ironing
    - knitting of hat & scarf - done some more of DD's hat. Not sure if I'll have enough wool though  I could have sworn I had another ball of it

Decorating To-do: (Italics are not urgent, but need to be done once the rest is done, preferably before the new carpets go in!)
    Paint DDs walls
    Paint my bedroom walls
Paint my bedroom walls again (painting magnolia over blue!)
    Paint hallway again x 2
Sugar soap all the gloss work (sanding where necessary)
    Paint gloss work
    Paint bathroom ceiling
    Paint bathroom walls
    Clear surfaces in livingroom
Fill cracks in ceiling & holes around pipework & any holes in wall from pictures
    Paint ceiling
    Paint walls
Sugarsoap/sand gloss work in livingroom & kitchen
    Repair floor trim
Sugarsoap gloss work in livingroom & kitchen
    Paint glosswork
    Paint kitchen ceiling
    Paint kitchen walls

    Monday ~ Kitchen
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum floor
Clear and wipe work surfaces - including paint tray & brushes
    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean!
Wipe out the fridge and rejig freezer (too much to defrost)
    Level Three
    Wipe the table
Shine any steel/aluminium. (dab of oil on a dry mf cloth works wonders)
    Clean through a cupboard

    Extras
    1. Clean the oven and hob
    2. Clean sockets and switches
    3. Dust and deweb.
Off to put a dust sheet up on the inside of DD's built in cupboard so I can paint the louvre doors without getting paint over the contents of the cupboard (which is currently the storage area for EVERYTHING that has been put away while I decorate...see the logic of storing it there? No, neither can I :rotfl:) then I need to make a start on her room otherwise it'll never get finished.

DB travelled that route yesterday and found A1 okay. DSs are both near Newcastle and say main roads open and clear but not side roads. HTH :)

    Morning all

Nearly done in the kitchen, just need to find some handcream after using so much hot water.

Just checking bank accounts and then I'm hoovering. I don't want the heating on until later as only I'm hear so lots of active flying (and thermals) to keep warm.

Sending sleep well tonight vibes (and matchsticks) to all of you who had a rough night last night.

Ds1 on snow day, meeting cancelled, doing the rounds of checking on elderly relatives and clearing paths so will pop off again as we're at the next one
