(((hugs))) LW. Don't overdo things. I know its frustrating when you're so restricted, but try to find things to do that don't take too much out of you.

Haven't done anything in the kitchen (it'll have to wait till after work) but I do have one load of towels in the TD, a load of washing in the WM, and have cleaned and tidied the spare room so I can hang stuff up in there.

I have also emptied the dehumidifier (it can work its magic on the washing when it is done), got two baskets of logs and one of kindling in and mostly sorted out a presentation for wednesday. Slides are awaiting updates from anyone in the US who isn't on holiday, polls are done, just need to make my notes of what to say as its a very long and boring presentation (usually over an hour) which needs to be go through in 30 minutes (so about 2 minutes per slide... just time to say... this is a slide, it has information on it!). Another presentation to do later, but I'm on the phone from now until 5, then back again for an Australian client at 9pm (I hope to get the kitchen done in between).

pooh - I hope you managed to harvest plenty from the garden this year so you have lots of veggies to keep you going. Make sure you stock up on pulses and tins and fill any little gaps in the freezer while you still can!

Please can I join in again this week? I haven't for a while but need to get on top of everything for the festive period. I blitzed upstairs yesterday so will do daily lists for downstairs room then fit in ironing/Christmas shopping/ebaying on the other days. Also have a poorly 3 year old so we're all pretty tired and grumpy at the mo so need to stay motivated!

I will also join in the ironing challenge as I have let things slip in this department in the last couple of weeks!

Well I got my snow day but had to get to work first - they decided to close the school at 9.05 when they realised that we were a bit short on teachers it seems Clacks Council was one of the last to decided to close schools not good for parents who think kids are at school and have gone off to work!

OHs school finally made a decision about 7.20, the rest of the schools had already posted on the council website. I am glad cos he wouldn't have got to work in his car. I decided not to bother with mine and walked to work, OH walked part of the way with me.

Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Aberdeen and the M90 going up there? I have to go tomorrow even though we know there is no chance we will get there in time.

I am just trying to warm up from my walk home and then think about flying.

I've had a really busy morning. Went to ELC and got DS and nephews presents (birthday and Christmas). Went to Currys to look at docking station (which i've found on Amazon for £50 cheaper!! so will be ordering that!) Then picked up parcel from Post Office Depot where the queue was huge! Then collected MORE toys from Mr T. Home where i got my dad to go in the loft and get x-mas wrap and cards so I know what I need. Done some banking and re-written out x-mas lists. Blitzed kitchen. Done 3xWM and 2x TD. DW on. Now going to do some ironing for an hour. :)
