Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Mondays level 1,2 &3 complete!:j
Feel so much better, as I really CBA this morning. Kitchen is my problem area. I have done the extras too bar the oven and hob. Really want this job done so I can move into maintenance mode. So you ladies who use oven pride(?), the one with the bag, can you put the bars that go over the gas hobs in the bag? Or is it just the shelves from inside the oven? Mine are still not as clean as I would like . The toothbrush/scourer into the corner bits just isn't working as well as I would like. I would like to just use washing up liquid as I have realised I'm slightly phobic about chemicals! Might look in the shop again, then come out with a brillo pad:rotfl:. Help!
  • Hello everyone,

Thanks to everyone at FCC. :T

I'm back in this week. So will probably do my usual, start the week with such good intentions, then end out going out or having people round nearly every night so that I am never about to do anything from the list!! :o

Anyway we have woken up to lots of snow today, about 3" or 4" laying on the ground. I know it is not as much as some areas of the country but pretty good going for us! :snow_laug I love it but then I don't mind driving in it and I have a set of snow chains if things did get really bad! Mind you it would be a bonus if it snowed so much I couldn't get to work and then I could have an extra day to complete the flylady list! :)

Hope everyone has a good week and the snow doesn't cause you to many problems?

Having a lunch break from cleaning/decorating. I've been washing down the paintwork in DD's room (unless its covered by furniture, I'll do that when I move the furniture :p) and now working my way down the stairs, literally washing them down entirely! The treads & risers are filthy from the old carpet. I'm on my 4th bucket of sugar soap water  I have nearly finished though so thats a good thing. Don't think I'm going to get around to painting today though :o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Hi all; I am here, just struggling a tad, as *fanfare* it's flare time again. So annoying - I feel as if I'm bruised all over, can't stay awake for more than 2 hours at a stretch..... and my hair's falling out in swathes again.:( Well, whatever else happens, I have to be out of it before 10th December, no ifs or buts about it.

I shall do my best, but fear I won't manage to achieve stars; hee hee, just my luck it's kitchen day when I have to do a load of baking *rolleyes* (if I don't do it, Mr LW will have an empty lunch box!)

Anyways, thank you FCC for the lists.:o

My apologies, I had to skip the last 10 pages of last weeks Fred, and I've skimmed the front end of this week, as I'm so 'orribly behind.

I'll pass on the ironing challenge, thanks; we iron very little in our house, and it always gets cleared on a Sunday.:o

Anyways, I'm going to pour some more coffee (functioning on caffeine and sheer bl00dy-mindedness at the mo);) and try to press on.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Right, LR habitable again, would still be embarrassed if someone popped in unexpectedly, but floor is clear and hoovered, 2nd sofa carp is in a neat pile and all the rubbish from side tables is binned. Will have a deep clean on LR day.

Going to wrap the kidlets up warm (only had a dusting of snow here so far) and go to Mr T (DS1 keeps asking to go to the park and when I say it's too cold he says he wants to go to the pub instead! He's three!). Then come back and do the kitchen list.
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy
