    I'm here....

God awful night again. Awake at 4.50am and didn't really get back to sleep again. I sometimes wonder why I bother getting up at all - it's going to be a mind-numbingly boring day in the office again...

I will be flying but in my own way - I need to do my bedroom today ...

    Morning all flying folks,

Rough night here so I was up with the lark after reading my book for an hour. Also managed to read a magazine from cover to cover which took a couple of hours so I dare not think how many hours sleep I actually got. I am really struggling with pain from where my gallbladder was which seems bizarre. Food tends to trigger it so maybe I will loose a few pounds ...:j

Made a start already was washed and dressed and outside at 6.30 fetching in my ash bucket for the fire, cleaned all the ashes out and now have a lovely fire roaring here. Had more snow overnight and the road which had cleared yesterday is now solid tightly packed snow again, which does not bode well as my Dad is expecting 6 big lorries today to fetch his wheat... we will see. :o

I have also got a load of washing in and had a quick tidy round in the living room while my lappy did a restart (software updates), made my bed and am now supping my second cup of coffee. :D

    Todays List...

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One

Declutter and mop/vacuum floor (God it needs mopping I have a sticky bit :o)
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean! (Last week did toaster so this week its microwave)
Wipe out the fridge and [STRIKE]defrost freezer[/STRIKE] Not doing freezer as tbh its looking fine did it not long ago, honest :D
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb!
[STRIKE]Shine any steel/aluminium. (dab of oil on a dry mf cloth works wonders)[/STRIKE] I don't have any so will give the back door a thorough clean down on the inside instead
    Clean through a cupboard
    Extras
    Clean the oven and hob
    Wipe down all the paintwork
    Clean sockets and switches
    Dust and deweb.

    Others..

Litter Tray - clean, refill and start hunting out a new covered one as this is looking worn now
Find homes for all the clutter on my table so I can use it for study without knocking things off and put on a nice festive center-piece
    Nurse - 9am Thursday
Pray snow clears so I can get to support group Tuesday evening
Order GodD1 and 2's Christmas presents when evoucher for Te$co comes thru
Check coal level and oil and place new orders if needed (should just need coal)
Clear mahoooosive pile of magazines in LR
Sort out mahoooosive messy pile of packaging materials
Stop myself checking eBay every 2 minutes :rotfl:

    Okies.. finishing coffee then
HHC at 8am... anyone joining me?

    Loves, Hugs and Spoons
    Sarah xx

No snow but the frost is :eek: Heating is back on (usually I only have it on for an hour in the mornings) and once I'm dressed I'll have to get more logs and kindling in...

Quillion - hugs - hope it revolves it self soon - does he have to have him on a Sunday? He already has him all day Saturday.
When OH was trying to sort this out with his ex, his solicitor told him that the norm was alternate weekends, alternate 'feast days' e.g. Christmas and half of every holiday (until they are old enough to decide for themselves that they'd rather spend time with their mates than with either parent!). Obviously he'd prefer to see them more, but the important thing was to get into a routine so that they knew when they'd see him and started to understand that they saw him at his not at home anymore.

I think we need to do something about finding you an interesting job... are you still rotting your brain quietly or are you doing something to keep it busy when you're not at work?

OK... back to bed for a few minutes while the house warms up :o

Hmm on my own so far eh?

    Oh well in my HHC I have;

Washed the grim window behind the kitchen sink that was covered in water splashes :j
    Washed the back door window
Fed the birds the last bit of seed
Learnt going out in the snow in flip flops is a daft idea :rotfl:
    Started work surface/cupboard/drawer fronts
    Scrubbed out grill tray
Put stardrops on microwave inside and over hobs/grill holder thingy

    Quite a good start i think...:D

It is snowing heavy here now and coming straight down the chimney and hissing on the fire.. not good :(

Oh well, this cleaning larks keeping me warm.. time for a coffee then another HHC at 9am..

    xx

    Greenbee~~Welcome back

Quillion~ all I can offer is hugs, I'm not very good when it comes to children and ExOH's, so I best leave it to those that know about these things. (or though I could suggest a swift short sharpe shock to the short and curlies, and tell him to stoping being such a !!!!!tt, )

I'll join the ironing task, I always do all the ironing on a Sunday morning and once done my 'treat' is a bacon roll.
    Floors done

Back later to day off to near Brighton.

    Morning all

Awoke to the not so sweet sound of some t**t polishing the road right outside the house  He has not the first clue how to drive in these conditions. For the sake of 15 yards pure polished ice I can't get the car out. The rest of the roads are fine, so I have just brought a bucketful of grit from the newly installed (and almost empty!) grit bin outside Mum and Dad's. Sprinkled some which will benefit us and brought the rest inside for us to use as and when. Selfish I know but the number of times I have cleared the road with little or no help or thanks I think it's time to put us first.

OK rant off, :coffee: and then onwards!
