Count me in, playing catchup this week as am back to work on Tuesday, and this is my 4 day week, but will see what I can do....maybe will get more done if the snow carries on!
COUNT ME IN FOR THE IRONING CHALLENGE TOO! Did I really say that?....gulp!
    RIP Iain
    13/11/63-22/12/12
  • I'm in until Wednesday evening when we head off to Disneyland Paris :j I'm excited about the stars!

Will be back Monday morning with all the washing so will definitely join in with the ironing challenge - my pile is non-existant right now as I've just done the last of it so I could finish packing (I kept telling myself I needed to pack everything so I had to iron it, then just went through the nice ironed piles when I'd finished and packed what we needed - I love lying to myself :rotfl:)

I made the flat look respectable this afternoon before my ex brought DS home so hopefully the lists will be ok to keep up with.

I've done all the packing I can, just things like toothbrushes and chargers etc to shove in on Wednesday. My best friend sent DD & DS a Trunki suitcase each as an early Christmas present, they wont leave them alone so I can't pack them until DD is at preschool on Wednesday (and then will hide them!) so their clothes are packed in old bags until I transfer them.

I've actually never been so organised to go on holiday - I'm usually the one to be frantically trying to dry some essential clothing with a hairdryer as DH is shoving me out of the door :rotfl: I'm really confident that this time we'll go away with everything we need, stress free, and come home to a tidy home - thank you all for the past few weeks, I couldn't (wouldn't!) have done it without this thread.

DS uniform is laid out ready for tomorrow, school/preschool bags are packed and water bottles filled up already. Going to have a quick 15mins in the kitchen to unload/reload the DW, then off to bed.

See you all in the morning xx

Thanks ladies, I am in! ISH!

    Greenbee welcome home,
wow sounds amazing but you must be exhausted, slot some me time in there somewhere too maybe?
Quillion - I think mediation is the only way, you need someone to bridge that gap and work with you both on some compromises. If he wants to play super Dad he needs to take the rough with the smooth!
Jenagain I wanted a Trunkie but they didn't do them big enough, we have an LEA guy here who attends meetings with the biggest briefcase but he's diddy like me and I call that his Trunkie :rotfl:
seafarers_wife, ahhhh Diggerlandland as my DS1 calls it :rotfl: I'm in Wolsingham on Thursday for a meal at the Black Bull, AMAZING food there!! Just hope they don't cancel as I love an excuse (when I'm getting milage paid) to play in the snow in the Landy :D big kid I am :D you'll do the road over the top to Crook? That's a wibbly way on the best of days .... I did that in the snow last Xmas meal, fun, but scary when a great big wagon came along that little road sideyways towards me I nearly wet myself! I am at Ushaw Moor for a meeting tomorrow, that'll probably be fun, if Nevilles Cross is chaos I will scream! Small world small world, my DPs leg was 'painted' at Kash's place in your village :)

Right, anyway where was I, oh yes....well if the meeting goes ahead I will be out 9-2 tomorrow, hmmmm, so not going to get much done during school time. I'm on CAF training on Tuesday so that'll be the afternoon wiped out 1- whenever....then Wednesday loads of appointments, Thursday Chrimbo lunch meeting and swimming group (depending on weather) and Friday 2 meetings including a SENCO conference to do a presentation at.....luckily I'm not too far from County Hall so I might even.....walk.....eeek

So this week in addition to trying to gain at least 1 star (see I will try!) I need to plan 2 presentations, all that ^^^ **** up there, study (I've had my set books arrive :D and I start my IPS training too :D ) and be Mum, do shopping etc etc. Someone remind me that I don't do any paid work so my life shouldn't be so insane.......lol

OH POO!!!!!! We've got lightning! .....EEK! Hope it's rain come to wash all the nasty bad snow away before DP has to drive to Northumberland in the morning......well that's where his first booking is anyway he leaves at 6am to do his schools, gritters usually not out by then.

I've managed to get everything but DS2s sleeping bag and pillow washed, they're waiting to go in next. I'm not happy however, he took 2 sets of hats and gloves with him, he's brought one pair of gloves back.....so what he's supposed to wear to go to school tomorrow I don't know. Suppose we'll have to see if they turn up on Thursday at cubs.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hello! I'm in this week - I haven't been posting much but I don't get the time! Am trying to keep things in order - however some things have slipped a little, it's hard to get jobs done with a whingey toddler in tow. But want to get it back to ship shape in time for Christmas. I may not post a lot but I'm definitely following!

Thunder brought snow Instead of rain, sky has vomited more white fluffy flakes which is the last thing we need! Not much use to anyone really. Totally shattered but can't sleep. Ds2 keeps having little screams, cries or giggling bouts in his sleep, in between farting, so he's probably why I am wide awake.

So tempted to get up now and plod on with housework but I know I won't be much use later in the day, oh well, wait until the 5.45am alarm goes off
