    Same here, though the email yesterday did say about giving a full refund so they must have been aware payments had already gone through.

    I don't know a thing about laws etc, but surely they can't take the money from people and only refund if they get asked to cancel....

    Won't they have to refund if they're cancelling the order, not wait for customers to cancel?

    anyone had a reply to their cancel email? i have also has the money taken out of the bank - they are a bit cheeky! lol

  • As I posted further back:
    Now maybe I have misunderstood the situation, but is it not the case that if payment has actually been taken from your payment method, then the company has to do what ever they can to either supply the item, a suitable alternative or to issue a refund, and as in this case they can supply the item or suitable alternative (unless they cease to offer such mugs on their site), then surely the orders should be honoured? Maybe someone with a better understanding of the law could clarify for you.
