Ooh do I? I am ashamed of its smallness but as long as it goes in the right direction it doesn't matter! I have student debt but I don't dwell on it since it gets paid off so slowly and :money:tells us not to pay it off yet!

I grew up with a (large) JRT and she used to pop up and down like she was on a spring board in the tall summer grass; this is how I am imagining Peedie in the snow!

was just about to ask what a JRT was but just sussed it. We had a large standard sausage dog and she just used to tunnel her way through snow, made no attempt to jump over it which makes sense given her size etc lol I miss her! think that's why i'd so like another one.

My sister's Westie loves the snow and will play outside for ages. She pretends she is a slug by sliding along on her tummy :D

Weather sounds Blah there Pippi. Heard reports on the radio also , just kept saying stay in.
Made it to first leg of my journey.Went North to drop Moo off. Journey hard as snow all the way up. Then it suddenly cleared at Wrexham. However arrived at OHs parents and within an hour it started to snow and hasnt stopped. Hoping the journey all the way down South tomorrow is not too hard but expecting it to be long!
Hope your storage heaters start working again soon.

Moo loves the snow and although he is big he was up to his knees in it this morning. He likes to catch snowballs but always looks bemused when they disappear to nothing :)

  • We had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she loved strong winds (it's a Cavvy thing!) and would hapily stand facing into the wind, eyes closed and ears blowing straight out backwards! Not so sure of snow though. The cat, however, used in her younger days to try to chase snowflakes - hours of entertainment!

Hurrah to something simple like tripped switches - let's hope that fixes it.

Up and writing, OH off skiing (with his xmas skis - I bought him one ski -luckily he bought the other one)

Off to find the hens later and see how they are once its light enough to see out there.

Have to clean the oven later - its REALLY needing done, using washing powder and water - or I might dig out the steam cleaner from the back of the garage.

Tree in due to you (and the kidlets) we don't really *do* much when they go to Dads for xmas - its very low key as we're all a bit glum about it (although excited) its a wierd feeling, we'll not be together but I'm trying not think about it - its one of the reasons OH is being a lovely spoiling person this year.

The oven - um - well - been here for 9 months - not cleaned it and tbh - you're veggie - we're not - its my one thing I think that you'd not be very nice to have our ex meat slobber in the oven - although normally its only cakes in there. I'm assuming you might bake?

    :)

Aside that, beleive me - it will be squallour - I've one section to hand in on Tues - there's just no time for the niceties!!!!!

    You've been galavanting!!

Hope you've had fun this week. We're still snowed in, but i'm assuming that will change:rotfl:

ps the water froze in the hen house today - you don't want to sleep in there!

    Hi all
    Hope you are all ok
We've had a lot of snow overnight but I've dug a path to the gate and round to the back so Max can get out.She does look funny bouncing chest deep through the snow :D
I know dogs have nice fur coats but nonetheless performing your ablutions in the snow can't be fun:eek:
A lot of people had to abandon their cars here last night and spend the night in the pub, well I guess there are worse places!
I am so glad I've got welies.
My neighbour has just been and got my prescription for me whilst she was fighting her way to the shops anyway and some chap saw my parents clearing snow and asked if they needed anything and brought back sothey asked him to pick up a newspaper which he did.
We see so much awful stuff in the media about this country but there is so much good that you just don't hear about.
