well done Pippi! it's always good to complain when you're right and they're wrong!

Hey Maty and Pink thank you!
The snow is in the utility room, which often has the door open - leading to the hall - might have something to do with it - putting the humungous curtains up helped -but hadn't seen the extent of the draught til the snow told the tale.
I'm now staying home - updated my FB to say I'm now in hibernation
Utility dd - electricity only - £100 -will be higher in winter but is lower in summer so thats the average. (other bit of dd - phone/bb, insurance, dentist, mob phone)
Pink hen water froze - IN the shed today - we topped them up with warm water. Poor girls - they will need socks soon!!!!
Keep warm - I'm not going anywhere for a while (um maybe next week...........weather dependant!)

In 30+ years of driving I have NEVER heard a traffic report for Orkney until tonight on my way home from work, it sounds really awful up there today Pippi so please take care  Loved, loved, loved the driving mantra
Me too MatyMoo, and I'm glad to see you got back safely Pippi, I pictured how exposed your house was so am glad you made it safely and invoked the magic power of the ducks
Congrats on paying off last company debt. Em, can someone tell me what happened please? Last I read they had offered you a 60% settlement - did they go back on it?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

When Pippi rang to pay it off in early December they said there was a typo in their letter and it only applied to November and not November and December
She was then encouraged to write to the ombudsman (I think) who took them in hand and miraculously they had to back track sharpish:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Pippi,
What wonderful news! What a great way to end the year. Does that mean you are debt free (except for the loan)?
Keep safe and warm - it makes me look rather foolish to be worried about the small snow flurries here in London!

Its finally sinking in EH - no *real* debt anymore - nothing in owed to a company, nothing in default, nothing being overly juggled, nowt on my main cc, little on my other one, rent put away for next month already, extra work done to pay for jan rent, contingency for feb if I need one - blimey!
OMG I've turned into a grown up - how did that happen????
I'll have to rectify that immediately! Well I do still have my overdrafts - they'll get worked on after end of thesis etc.
Hope you're good - I can't sleep hail/snow/something (rocks?) battering off the windows at force.
Hope LT OK - she's not been about tonight..........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
