They did however ask why I was cleaning oven (unusual behaviour clearly) when I said you were coming and they'd asked why they'd not met you yet - I just said you hadn't managed up last year.

Anyway Ds asked - OK but WHY the oven clean - they're veggie I replied

Why do we know so many vegetarians he asked - very perplexed

To which DD replied - Drrrrr all hippies-eco-save-the-planet types like mum normally are veggie, we're just lucky I guess.

Didn't know whether to laugh or cry

Well at least she said "lucky" and not "unlucky"...

Keep warm everyone - makeup can't wait either

Z - very true - kids are farm children, they don't understand the requirement to be veggie (always eaten home grown or local - they have no real experience of factory farming, thank goodness) - but they do like that we know people - I think the 'lucky' was more that we had friends, than them being veggie tbh :) my daughter is very holistic in her attitudes.

Matymoo - poor you hope you warm up

I took one look out the door - thought - oh dear snowed in, shut door. Easy really - but I've no shopping to do - its my year off.

Hope you warm soon and nice of you to check the person was OK and woo hoo for a free cuppa.

I'm finishing off my section - anohter hour should do it - probably spag bog for tea - if I get very distracted.

tis bloomin cold here yet again. We've had another dusting of snow but it's all sheet ice round here so still tricky for driving in. Thankfully managed to get another cyclinder but it was a bit of a saga and i was beginning to panic!
spent a sado yet enjoyable afternoon moving payments around etc on account of my new current account. Trying to stop things becoming too complicated but i'm not sure i'll achieve it, i seem to have a habit to set up lots of transfers to various funds for various bills, i guess it makes sure there's money to pay things but it does make for lots of transactions.
  • Good oh with the money moving - alway good to do

I'm frozen - need put more on!

    Back in a mo.

that's a good idea, i'm thinking of doing some more knitting of OH's hot water bottle cover, that will help keep my hands warm.
