EH are you using Word? If so just go to tools menu - language - set language then change to English (UK)

Sorry if this is something you already know!

GV I just sharpened our garden shredder at the weekend and serviced the lawnmower - you're not alone!

Not a big Gin fan I have to confess, unless it's the sloe variety. Am a bit partial to a Vodka & coke though.......
Love sloe and damson gin. There are a few bottles of Damson Gin and Cherry Vodka that I made last year in the cupboard. I gave a few small bottles away at Christmas, which were greatly appreciated :D

Pippi - I think £16 an hour is fine for hedge-planting up with you...but down here it is at least £20 to £25 an hour!!!

I would have the lower fee and living up in Orkney any day! :D

Just had a man here fitting a new grill/oven element in my cooker. I sourced the element on t'web and he came and fitted it...all done in 30 mins!! Shame he charged £45 :(...but he's much better than others round here...and he hoovered up all the dog hairs underneath and behind the cooker! :rotfl:

While he was busy, I managed to sow half of the peas I got from you Pippi, as well as some broad beans..a productive half hour then! :)

Working my way through a huge list today, about 20% done so far...plus a few extras not on the list :o

So must get off here and work my way through it all. :)

Have a lovely day everyone...((((((hugs)))))) to all

hi sounds like you've also fitted some G&T into that as well Pippi as it's Comic Relief lol

Hope all is well with you and the little Stripeys. I'm not big on Comic Relief, don't have anything against them but in my head i just go back to the first one and my dad had 3 heartattacks that night and technically died 3 times. Sort of a bizarre cause and effect in my head even if i know in my proper head that there was nothing to do with it.

 I think your aversion is perfectly understandable LT :(

EH sometimes it is the creator of the document's fault...ours at work are all set by default to US so I have to change them every time to UK...although I feel sure there must be a way of making it do it automatically!

Bought some pots today for 99p for 12 :D

I have heard posh cheffy types talking about having odd numbers of things on the plate, like 3 or 5 Profiterole, and it is all about presentation. Wonder if it is the same with bulbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry Wik, that wasn't very helpful was it :(

The problem seems to be mainly on the forum actually! I've tried everything I can think of, but it persists, although this machine (laptop) seems fine! :rotfl:

Your mother - the ultimate garden oracle- was often a teensy bit quirky :rotfl: but NOT ABOUT PLANTING NUMBER, the groups of 1,3,5,7 etc is indeed the norm for aesthetic value. There are no real rules, but even numbers often make things look like rows, hence odd number planting :)

    Maty was exactly right :)xx
