Trog what kind are they?
Do you mean the chillies? I think (I realised belatedly!) they are Scotch bonnets - appropriate I guess?
You lot are making me fancy a G & T now - must be summer - it's been far too cold to contemplate anything with ice in it for months!
Ooh forgot to say that today I was given a whole binbag full of assorted wool etc by a kind freecycler. It included two unused balls of bamboo mix (normally £6 a ball ) which is apparently perfect for knitting stripey socks :j See here May have to give that a go once I've finished my current project!0 -
Mmmmm, I'm also partial to vodka + tonic/diet coke/fruit juice/anything/on its own
I'm off out tonight, it's the night before DD's party so I "have" to get tipsy and have a raging hangover for the party itself, it's a tradition.....

Nom nom to tasty treaty posh bread! Can't understand why your lovely OH would laugh at that though, it's perfectly normal behaviour isn't it! he's a funny lad!
Need to work out why my computer has changed itself to american spellings - it's telling me that "behaviour" is spelt wrongly, which is somewhat annoying as unless things have changed in the past 48 hours, it's not!
Not a big Gin fan I have to confess, unless it's the sloe variety. Am a bit partial to a Vodka & coke though.......
FAB news on the hedge planting work - 250m sounds like it could be a healthy number of hours too so :j:j:j for that.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi All good news on all the hedge planting Pippi and the plant sales.
Decided that I couldn't justify £35 for the lawnmower sharpening man so borrowed a file off the neighbour and sat in the sun for an hour and cleaned and oiled the lawnmower and sharpened the blades and then cut the lawn. Sharpening the blades made a huge difference. That said I'm glad of you lot as you all do 'odd things ' as well. The only thing most of my female neighbours file is their nails so I think they regard me as a bit strange to say the least !.0
