Maty - the clue is in the name ... it is a daisy type flower with white petals and a bright yellow centre (that spreads up the petals a little)

Real name Limnanthes douglasii, and its flowers do indeed look like poached eggs! Love growing it...must get some more seed as haven't had it for a few years (DH kindly weeded it out a few years ago, thought it must have been a weed as it was everywhere :o!). It is a favourite of hoverflies, and looks lovely too!

Didn't get very much done today in the end, got a bit of tidying done, then watched the rugby...still more on the go, so off to do more ironing while watching it. I suppose I have managed to reduce the ironing pile a bit today :o!!
Oh and the right teams won too (ie Scotland :j and Ireland :)).

Pippi, hope you dont mind but a couple of us are directing people your way for gardening advice from MG thread. ;)

Just been looking at the online courses that Cheery is doing they look great and I wondered if you could do an online gardening course and charge for them.

    hi everyone
I've actually got OH at home this weekend which is lovely. He's recovering from his night shift though so slept a lot today which was ok as i escaped to a Crop. Did two lay outs so really pleased with that, been ages since i did any scrapbooking.
tomorrow my folks are supposed to be visiting which will be nice as they haven't been since before Christmas. Have to look over and sign the care package forms for my dad, but that's ok because i'll do anything for him that he needs.

For anyone on here I'd happily do any of it for free - and I've various sheets etc - direct away - Mse has given me so much - its the least I can do to give shonky advice in return! I'm listing seeds tonight (more seeds!) and watching HP with DD but I'm thinking of doing a collected set of notes which are all electronic - cheri - great idea - must think more of it! Thank you:A

I've blogged my morning and mentioned you all (vaguely I promise not by name - just the site!) I've had such a great day :)

    that's fast post!
we always found that post always seemed to travel quicker when it was travelling southwards than when it was travelling Northwards. Strange but true.

good luck to DD with her Grade 5, my nephew is studying for his Grade 5 drum exam think he will take it later in the year. Guess it will be the last one that he skips, he's only had to take Grades 1 & 3 so far. We're going to see him in the County orchestra next month which i'm looking forward to, he's got a 3 day residential beforehand the poor love but it should be fab and he's off to Slovenia in the summer on 'tour'!
