I was given a kindle for christmas but I find I am limited very much to amazon with it. My local library allows me to down load ebooks but not in the kindle format. Lots of other ebooks are ok with library down loads it is worth checking out as you can load up free loan for 2-3 weeks. I think mr amazon just wants you to spend your money on amazon & the free books are few and far between. I also find as a quick read the screen only holds half a page compared with a paper back so I am constantly haveing to flick on. so look at a few before you decide which format

    Morning Pips!

Have good rampage in the garden - its study study study for me with a looming deadline and a 3000 word limit to get to. Oh well at least I'll feel better if I start writing something

better get off lots to do today - trying for a NSD weekend here too and dreaming of some gentle baking later on. Think I'll take some scones out to defrost to cheer me up and eat later on

  • Pippi and Wik, so sorry (rather belatedly) about your news. At least you got there in time to see her and you have many many happy memories and people to share them with.

It has stopped raining here :j:j It's been pouring down since yesterday afternoon - I had to look outside every now and then to check we were still on dry land - or at least on land.

Now I'm going to rush outside, pull up the last of the oriental radishes for a salad and try and plant some parsnip seed - it does say to sow in ground which has already been watered :rotfl:
