Do you mind if I ask you a v basic question about my spider plant??? :o
There's also the thing about watering it from the bottom (from the saucer its sitting in) not the soil at the top - that helps lessen the fly infestation too, I used to get that all the time, not just with overwatering.

Hugs to you too, chev, for the first time today I saw some of the damage outside of Christchurch - it all looks really bad.

    Thinking of you all.

  • Hi all
Pippi and Wik, so sorry to hear of your loss. It's never easy so be kind to yourselves.
I'm glad to hear all this gardening stuff going on.
Whilst I remember, I went Ar*os on Wednesday to collect a slimline water butt kit (base, butt, connections.) whole thing was !19.99 on offer but only £24.99 even when full price. It's going to be a friend for my single water butt when I get them connected. Thought it was a bargain!
Saw my first frog hopping around the garden yesterday.

hugs to you as well Wik.

The chillie plant made me laugh what will they think of next? lol

Has anyone got the Kindle thing? I was always opposed to having one but a friend at work has just got one and am tempted. What's helping is that they're in tesco's so you can get double points and the petrol voucher. Shallow or what? What do people think of them?
