As we don't know, it must be considered a possibility. And if it is possible, then it's the most important question in the world.

The traditional model of 'proof' is where a theory tested by a practical demonstration, and that demonstration can be repeated exactly with the same answer, that is 'Newtonian' physics - the study of logical action and reaction.
However this assumes that all the factors can be measured, and can be replecated. This is hard enough for example with the weather, yet sometimes the person who reads the 'signs' of the natural world (whether berries on the trees or migrating birds) may be more accurate for a long range forecast than the weatherman.

Thus, the psychic/medium does not act in isolation, it is not just he/she and the client/customer. If that was the case perhaps it could be replecated, I remember a TV programme with Randi where the medium was given a subject to give a 'message' to. But Randi assumes the medium is in control, he is not - his guides had other ideas - they gave a 'message' for the camera-man who validated the message. Needless to say Randi wouldn't accept it.

I remember going to a Romany medium some years ago, told me not to worry about money, I was to come into an inheritence in about 18 mths time, property would be redeveloped with new houses etc.
Reality, I was made redundant, with a decent package (but I still worried), and the new houses ?? Well all around where I used to work, previous light industrial/warehouse units had been pulled down, replaced by housing.
So, she was right, but her interpretaion of the 'signs' she was given was incorrect.

Maybe she just read the paper a bit more than you do.

Your mind is adding links where there are non. She made a statement that turned out to be false and something else happened to you that you sounds slightly similar so you taken that what she foresaw was right. Maybe its your interpretation of events that are wrong.


where in the country has old industrial/warehouse units not been pulled down to make new houses? Property redevelopment goes on every where all the time. Its not a difficult guess really.

Our brains work by making links between things everyone does I do it, the difference is know when its just your mind playing tricks and when links are actually happening.


The the usually cop out of Psychics and medium I can't be tested for X Y Z reason, or the test fail because of bad energies/aura. Being tire ect. When there tested and failed.

That is how they prey on the vulnerable and charge for it. The poor couple after losing their child being told, basically lie's and charged for it. He should hang his head in shame.

When I went we were all told that if we were spoken to we were to ans yes no or i don't know or simply listen, the only reply i gave was a don't know when he said my dad died in his sleep.

Last year was a terrible year for me, and I ended up visiting several psychics/readers out of complete and utter desperation.

I can honestly say that visiting most of those people did me a tremendous amount of harm when I was at such a low ebb. Some of the things I was told seemed incredibly insensitive and cruel, and hurt me very deeply. It's something that I never want to experience again.

I do believe that the psychics/readers I saw thought that they were helping me, and believed in what they were saying and doing i.e as opposed to being simply liars, fraudsters and conmen. But whatever their intention, the damage was still done.

Someone in an earlier post described people who go to psychics, as "thick" ,"stupid" etc. I think that's a horrible and unkind thing to say because it refers to many grieving people who feel totally lost and alone, and who are desperate for some kind of relief from the pain of loss.

If someone visits a psychic and finds the experience comforting then that is their business. They are obviously finding something that I didn't find.

Maybe there is an afterlife etc. None of us can know for sure until the time comes. People will carry on visiting psychics and mediums, but personally, I don't want to be hurt that way again.

I don't think that people who go to psychic/mediums are stupid but i think these people are in need of some sort of professional help coping with their loss. I also think some are desperate for answers where a medium or psychic cannot provide any. I would always suggest seek professional counselling rather than go to these people.

I truly believe that those close to me have said all they wanted to say to me when they were alive and i knew them well enough to know what they'd say to me now.
