  • Perhaps we could start a new competition to see what is the longest time someone has to endure EDF's "hold" music whilst waiting to speak to one of their customer advisors.

I have currently been waiting for 55 minutes and am now feeling that life has no meaning at all.

    Thanks EDF.

Never thought I'd be happy to get my leccy bill!

Now I have I can see I'm on the correct tariff, had all my bonus's and Quidco payments, so all seems now OK.

Just wish I could get on-line to monitor my account.

Still, the e-mails and complaints seem to have at least some result!!

Mine went to received the other day - had been in the validated stage for well over 2 months

So is it official that Online Saver v7 prices have not increased at the start of this month? I don't remember receiving notification of price changes from EDF, but ScottishPower have phoned me twice to ask if I have heard EDF prices are going up, and suggest I switch back to them (to which I explained about all the cashback I'm getting, which represents over 25% of my annual bill anyway).

I did submit a meter reading on 3 March as I assumed the price was increasing, and didn't want them to underestimate my usage at the lower price. It produced a bill with the correct prices, but a few days later, EDF e-mailed to say it was time I submitted a meter reading! I assumed this was for the price increase but ignored as I'd already given readings.

I did have quite a bit of trouble signing up. I'm not sure how much was the fault of EDF and how much ScottishPower. It seems EDF were moving to a new computer system (great time to do it, over Christmas and just as a popular deal is about to be withdrawn). The clue was when I phoned and the woman asked me to slow down giving my account number as her pen wasn't working very well! They did respond quite quickly to e-mails, though, and in the end I am on the correct v7 tariff with both EDF and Quidco cashbacks, using the meter reading I took in December.

If the v7 prices aren't increasing for the moment, that's just a bonus!

my was also paid today :T

My £100 bonus was credited to EDF account a few weeks ago now also :j

Online EDF account shows my credit also !!!!

    :D:D
  • Switched end of Nov.
My £100 was credited to my a/c a month ago and my £80 from Quidco is on its way, pending transaction on my current a/c, due in tomorrow.
The only problem I have is submitting my readings.
Managed to get my gas reading in on 1st of this month, but elec failed. Now when I try, both fail.
    Not a worry, but annoying.

I had a gas bill a few weeks ago, charged at standard account rate but showing the £25 credit. Phoned CS and she said she'd recalculate the bill and credit my account.

I've got a spare 2Gb memory stick knocking around somewhere, wonder if it would speed their computer up a bit:rotfl:
