Morning all. Boy was I tired last night.

Kiddies were indeed treated to tea made by the Big M! As was DH £14.95 spent on tea
I also bought some fabric. £25ish Some superhero fabric to make a dress for myself for Sunday and some fabric that DD chose for a dress for herself. She surprised me with her choice actually. I felt it was more suitable for a 10/11 yr old maybe than a 6year old but she loved it so I treated her. Just got to make it up for her now.

Today is going to be a houseworky kind of day. Washing is on, sun is shining so line drying :D, windows are open for fresh air, toast is being eaten by DS before going out the back to play while I get some outside jobs done.

£25 for a dress for you and one for DD sounds reasonable enough. I'd missed the thing about the overdraft too - brilliantly well done, and fingers crossed to getting it gone! :T

    Mmmm....toast - lob a slice this way please! :D

    *toast lobbed over* jam??

Yes when you put it like that £25 for 2 dresses isn't that bad. DD is slightly on the small side as you know, so she gets a good wear out of her clothes. In fact she wore a dress last week that when I thought about it, I actually made for her 3 years ago  it still fits her! Yes it's a bit shorter now but it's not obscene.

It's alright - you know when it gets to the point that it IS obscene? You add leggings and tell her you've altered it into a top! ;)

Nope, I'll pass on the jam thanks - got some Marmite here though! :D

Morning all. Another sunny day here. I've got washing on the line, another load in the washing machine and the Greenhouse has been opened for some air. DS is sat next to me having second breakfasts while DH has taken DD to school.

No extra pay for me today even though it's Friday as I didn't do any extra shifts last week. So no money shuffle today. The min payment is due out soon though so I'll be able to update my total then.

Today though I have some housework and sewing things to do. I have a dress to make for Sunday and after all the washing I've done the last couple of days I've got a big pile of clothes to go away in the relevant wardrobes.

I hope to spend a bit of time in the garden again today watching DS play while I potter about admiring the cherries and blackcurrants we have growing. :D

£1.03 from qmee requested and paid off loan. It's almost laughable but EVERY penny counts and that was 103 of them ;)

I've also sold a crafty make and have withdrawn the money from PayPal so waiting for £6 to hit my account so I can pay that off too.

    May Challenge £183.03/£400

Hmm must work harder. Not at half way yet

Morning all. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Ours was a busy one and I am feeling pretty pooped this morning after working Saturday night and last night in my second job plus the busy weekend. DH was a good 'un though and let me lie in til 8am this morning! That is very late on a school day  so I am grateful.

DS has gone to nursery, DH has taken DD for her last (hopefully) dental appt at the hospital. He has also taken 2 nappy boxes and a bag full of [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] treasures to the charity shop. I'm struggling a bit here as one if the goals on my Day Zero list was to declutter 100 items. Now I'm pretty sure if I counted each item individually then those boxes, the bag and the two bags of clothes I've got would add up to 100 :T But there is still so much to declutter. :o

So I'm thinking I would just count the boxes as one item....so today we have decluttered 3 things (2boxes and a bag) and try to hit 100 that way. We have got bigger things like the highchair to get rid of so that will obviously count as 1 but smaller things can count as a group. That way my house will be so very clutter free :rotfl:

Plan for today includes mainly the dining room:

[STRIKE]Boxes to charity shop[/STRIKE] 4 boxes and a bag taken
    [STRIKE]Meals from stores[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]HC[/STRIKE]
    Clothes away in relevant wardrobe
Clear out boxes in dining room mostly done
[STRIKE]Start a new "for charity shop" box[/STRIKE] and taken to charity shop :D
[STRIKE]Bag up some more clothes for selling[/STRIKE]
    Check banks
Clear off dining table nearly there
[STRIKE]Move clutter around piano so DD can actually practice[/STRIKE] we need a piano stool I think
[STRIKE]Move bikes out of dining room[/STRIKE] unfortunately they are now in the kitchen :o
[STRIKE]Clear away DH's tools off the dining room windowsill[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Ask DH to attach doors to new cupboards[/STRIKE] asked and completed ;)
    Clear paperwork off coffee table
    [STRIKE]DD piano lesson after school[/STRIKE]
Meeting tonight at church DH already gone. I don't need to go til 7
[STRIKE]Pair up socks (we have a box full of odd ones )[/STRIKE]

    That'll do I think

I'm off to put on some loud music (empty house one side as gentleman now in a care home and very deaf lady the other side ;)) and start talking the dining room.

    Have a good day x

:rotfl::rotfl: all paired up now. DD's job that is. She does fab!

£10 spent on piano lesson. Looks like I'll save myself another £10 as the teacher is on holiday the week after the bank holiday so no lesson for 2 weeks now.

Today has been decluttering. The dining room is looking much better. And for once we actually sorted through boxes instead of just moving them around :D

It has taken all day and we are still not done but as long as I do some more tomorrow and don't start dumping things back in there then we should be done by the end of the week. Leaving just the decorating to do in there. :j

Off to cross stuff off my list.
