It'll be well travelled before it even makes the PO :rotfl:

Half term here and I am absolutely shattered. Think it's a combination of the sore throat I have and the race I did on Saturday. I gave absolutely everything in the race and haven't got much left now 3 days later :o never mind. I knocked 6mins off my PB so can't really complain.

DH did some overtime at work and gave me some money today to pay off the loan. So £50 moved. That means I have reached my May target :j with 4days to spare :T:T

Money is quite tight here this week. £1.85 left in spending account. NW account looking a bit sickly but I paid a cheque in yesterday so that hasn't cleared yet. Payday is Thursday I think (I hope). Another frugal month ahead in the hope to clear O/D in NW account. I have cleared just under half of the O/D this month. DD's swimming lessons needed paying this week. I took my eye off the ball somehow and hadn't marked in my diary when it was due. Thankfully I remembered and managed to pay over the phone so she didn't lose her place. £36 for those. It's not too bad really as that's for 10 lessons.

Also just spent £1.70 buying mik for a friend who was desperate! Did feel a bit put out as I wasn't really passing a shop but that was just me being a bit selfish. :o Also treated my poorly boy (he has chicken pox :( ) to some jaffa cakes (his favourite) for £1

Aw, give yourself time to rest if you're feeling poorly. Knocking 6 mins off is ace, but no wonder it's taken it out of you! xx

Thanks Cheery. I'm feeling better but DS has chicken pox so is feeling sorry for himself now :( Bless him he's covered in spots and trying to get him to stop scratching is a nightmare!

Anyway payday here. Haven't had chance to do the proper money shuffle and budget yet as I have a 2 year old spotty boy sat on my shoulder like a parrot and I'm trying to do it all on my phone which isn't the best :(

Never mind, I did manage to round down my account and move a massive :rotfl: £3.18 to the loan. It is still May too so that counts towards my challenge ;)

Personal spends that I know are happening this month

Piano lessons DD - £30 3 lessons this month due to teacher being away on tour!!! The extra £10 [STRIKE]will be paid off the loan[/STRIKE] pay show registration (see below)
Dancing DD x4- £20 plus £10 show registration
    Run club x4 - £10
Nursery DS - £170 2 days a week so that I can work from home
Birthdays x4 - £5 this is a maximum for presents as I hope to either make something or have something suitable in my present drawer.
Father's Day - £10 DH has mentioned some shorts he wants? Not sure what I'll get my stepdad yet
Disney Christmas show - £20 for a family ticket
Spree - £45 the final balance of a weekend away camping with a load of our church youth

The childcare costs and DD's activities are budgeted from my main account. The rest will need to come from my spends account.

Wow that looks a lot this month. I must keep a close eye on the budget this month.

I have already spent out of my pay packet

    £2.95 novelty headband
    £8.60 tutu and wings
    £7.85 rock and roll skirt

All of the above is for DD's end of academic year dance show. I am making her the other two costumes that she needs.

In terms of a June Challenge I want to pay £500 off the loan, £232.92 (makes it a round number) of which must be "made". This extra can come from anywhere except the usual loan payments or main wages of DH or myself. It needs to be a conscious effort to make some extra cash.

:rotfl: thanks cheery let's see if I'm as enthusiastic about it later on in the month :rotfl:

DS is on the mend but still very attention seeking so still not quite there yet :(

DD went back to school yesterday after half term and DS is allowed to go back to nursery tomorrow as his spots have started to disappear. I know I will sound like a mean mammy but I will be glad of a child free day tomorrow to catch up with my housework. It's been so hard getting things done when DS has cried every 5 minutes and needed cwtches :(
