    It will be fine :)

Hope you have a nice run.

Although to a lazy lummox like me those two words in the same sentence sound like torture.

Aw starnac ((((())))) hope your meeting wasn't as bad as you feared. Glad you seem to have a bit of moral support though. Hope you're back home now with a smile on your face and a nice cup of tea xxx

Thank you lovely ladies. Meeting wasn't as bad as I thought. Without going into detail as that will surely "out" me  she has agreed with something I said months ago. I can't gloat as it's kind of sad the way it's come about and I didn't want it to be like this but at least it wasn't a tirade against me. *phew*

Banks have been a bit tight as I had to pay for a youth trip to secure places. Thankfully I've been reimbursed now so that's gone in my bank this morning. My o/d has come down by a lot. I won't manage to clear it a month like I hoped to as we've had quite a bit to pay out this month. Hoping to have a quiet ish month next month to make up the shortfall. I don't mind it taking an extra month as I'm not actively working to pay it off as all my spare money is going to pay off the loan. The o/d is being paid off by careful spending and well, NOT spending :rotfl:

DH has agreed to a bit more overtime but he has also looked at booking some days off next month too. We've got a lot of half finished jobs around the house *rolls eyes* so he's going to try to finish at least one of them before the summer. *please let it be the dining room* ;)

Also friend paid me by cheque last night so that went in the bank this morning too. Once that clears it will be moved over to the loan

Today is going to be a mixed one I think. A friend is coming this morning to drop something off and I am so excited! It's a bit sad that I'm so excited as it's a piece of equipment for my work but yay it'll be all mine :j

But then this afternoon DS is being assessed by a speech therapist :( he has been very slow to talk which is fine - DD doesn't stop talking :rotfl: but now he is saying a few things he's missing quite a few letter sounds. I'd noticed it but decided to get him checked after nursery mentioned it :(

Good luck Starnac, hopefully they'll be able to tell you what's going on and give you help and support if needed. Still worrying for you though xx

Thanks cheery she actually turned up this morning. After telling me early morning wasn't good for her! Never mind at least it's over and done with. She said there's nothing specific wrong with him, but he misses the beginning and ends of some words. She concerned about his hearing which is worrying for me due to my problems. He had his hearing checked at 9 months like all babies and they said he was fine. My mum works in our local hospital so she's going to pop up to the dept in her lunch break and ask them how I go about getting his hearing reassessed.

I was 11 before I was given my hearing aids and really struggled in school up to that point. If he does have hearing problems I want him seen as soon as possible. Just waiting for my mum to text me now. It probably won't be til her lunch break but I'm sitting with the phone near me so that I don't miss her text :o
