Hi orange fairy. How nice to see you. You have made lovely cakes this year. I hope someone makes you one too.
Postage costs will be terrible and I do think eBay will suffer. I can't be doing with the hassle at the moment either. I go through phases with the dreaded auction site. I do sometimes wonder if I'm not actually a people personGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
won't be long before there'll be no where your DD can't reach. Hope she was careful with your cake stands.0

Morning all. DD is back to school today. It rained all the way to school and we both got soaked. Charming!! Must remember to take her wellies when I go to pick her up.
Feeling a bit cheesed off today. It's a bit silly really but it bothers me. A friend of mine is pregnant (good for her and I am pleased for her don't get me wrong) but she's forever changing her FB status to something to do with the fact she's having a baby. She's looking for a pram; they haven't got the colour she wants; pram has arrived; it needs putting together; 3 weeks left in work.......you get the picture. Yes she's excited about the baby we get that. What upsets me is that when I had DD she told me that she didn't think we should bother that much any more cos I had become boring since having DD as all I talked about was the baby!
Now she's having a baby and guess what she's talking about ALL the time??
I know I shouldn't let it bother me but she was my best friend til I had DD then she didn't want anything to do with me.
Must try not to dwell on it. In better news, for my birthday I asked for donations to a local cancer hospital instead of presents and I raised over £100. If DH gets half day today (which he should as the weather is terrible so they'll probably be quiet) then me and DD are going to take the money down to the hospital this afternoon. That's my good deed for today. The first proper good deed of my 30'sGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
blimey Starnac that's selfless asking for donations for charity. I'm not sure that i would do that.

*whispers* I did think the money would have come in handy for myself
We've got a lot of stuff in the house already we don't need more. Plus the hospital does a lot of good work for local cancer patients. My dad was in there before he died and whenever we went to visit him (my sister and I were very young) it was such a nice place to be if you can believe it. They make patients feel as much at home as possible and it's lovely so I wanted to do something for them. That's why I had the party tbh. So I would get more cards (and therefore donations) than I would have done normally.
I was dreading turning 30 so thought I should do something positive to force myself to look forward to it
I'm already thinking what I can do next for themGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
