He speaks welsh then does he? I thought maybe he was using phrases you didn't understand
We don't miss tv to be honest. DH thought he would but he doesn't. It's quite surprising reallyGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
when we visit the outlaws one of the things that bugs me is that the tv is on for about 15hrs straight and it's so bad they know when to turn chanels for specific programs and even voluntarily watch the same program twice in one day. (why???????)0

It's Friday!! Not quite sure why I'm excited. It's not like I get a 2days off or anything!!
DH was off yesterday and he took DS out for the day giving me time to myself. It was lovely. I managed to get some sewing done that I have out off for ages. It felt lovely to have my sewing machine out again.
Tomorrow I plan to make a cake for my stepdads birthday and one for my mum for mothers day too. I also have a pile of ironing to do. Rock and roll all the way!!
I am so close to payout now on superpoint$. I should be able to redeem my points by the end of the week so I'm pleased about that. I also reached payout on donkeymail$ but when I tried to cash out I got a message saying they were closed for the weekend  that was annoying. I'll try again Monday now.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekendGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Aw, that's so sweet that DH is looking after DS and you're baking for your family:A Hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!Overpay!0 -
Thank you PBR I had a lovely mothers day. DD brought me breakfast in bed, then we went to church then up to my mums afterwards for Sunday dinner with my sister who was home for the weekend. It's been lovely. DD is now in bed while DH has taken the baby with him when he popped out to church to catch this evening's speaker (evening service is too late for us with DD getting ready for bed but DH is treasurer so he needs to speak to each speaker that comes so he pops out towards the end of the service to catch them before they leave) so I've got a quiet 5 mins. Bliss
How was your 1st mothers day?? Were you spoilt??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Hi Starnac!
I certainly was spoilt - breakfast in bed! Wonderful!
Sounds like you had a lovely day too! How lovely to spend it with your mum also!Overpay!0 -
It's been a while since I posted on here.
I have been enjoying the lovely weather by doing some much needed work in the garden. We now have a veg patch twice the size of the one we had last year!! We had a good harvest off our tiny plot last year so here's hoping for this year. Best get planting
I have also been sorting out my return to work date. I so don't want to go back there. I have arranged to take 3 weeks A/L at the end of my mat leave so I get longer off and get paid decent (ish) wages for it. I may be looking for a new job before I go back though.
I was quite brave today - I ventured off the DFW boards  i hate doing that as people are not very friendly on other boards but I needed some advice. Hopefully someone will know the answer to my query.
DH off tomorrow and Friday so more gardening planned and some decluttering too. Then a table top sale planned for Saturday with DD's first ballet recital on Sunday ahhhh!
Hope everyone is wellGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Thanks pippi. I did get some replies - none shouty which is always good. Not exactly what I wanted to hear tho. Basically a company which owes us money has paid it into someone else's account. They said they now have to recall the money before they can pay it to us. I wanted to know how long it takes to recall a payment. One poster said it can take either days or weeks depending on whether the other person allows the payment to be recalled
Which is not what I wanted to hear.
Re job wise. I am thinking of either mon-fri 9-5 so childcare is easier or patchwork so childcare isn't too much of an issue. There may be something in the pipeline but don't know yet so don't want to say too much in case it all falls through. But I would probably look at one of the above instead o shifts like I did before
Bet you are working hard in this weather pippiGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
