you certainly deserved some time out and i think the photography course is actually an investment so you get the best use from your camera0

Thanks LT thats what I thought. It really taught me how to get the best from my camera. Can't wait to take the kids somewhere now to practice
I took DS to the doctors this afternoon for his 2nd lot of jabs. do health visitors go on a special course to learn how to make you feel like a bad mother or does it just come naturally? Apparently I am starving DS!! My boy is twice the size his sister was at the same age and she was fine but no apparently I am not feeding him enough. Never mind that I have started weaning him cos milk is not enough for him. Good job I'm not as sensitive this time around :mad:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

not being a parent i've only heard what my sister says about health visitors but she was always of the opinion you smile sweetly, say yes and then just get on with it ignoring most of what they've said. She was told that she was killing No2 child by over feeding him. She did point out to the HV that she was only weighing him and not measuring his growth and therefore the numbers weren't being taken in the right context. plus apparently you can't over feed a baby cos they throw up (??)
she certainly didn't tell her when she started weaning No 1 baby which she had to do early cos he was growing so quickly but was intollerant to milk therefore couldn't have it full strength. (he was in the 99th percentile or something like that. He's now a 6ft 5, 15yr old (only just) with bigger feet that his 6ft 11 dad!0 -
Got a poorly DD today. She was up in the night being sick so not going to school today. DS actually went back to sleep after his morning feed as well so got both of them tucked up in my bed. So catching up on here before they both wake and demand my attention. I *could* be doing some housework but that can wait
Been worrying about money the last couple of days. Ideally I'd like not to go back to work as I really don't get on with the staff there - only look out for themselves- but obviously I can't afford not to work. I've been trying to think of ways that I can work but can fit it around the kids. I love taking DD to school every morning (maybe not in the wind and rain) and being there when she comes home. DH works every other weekend which means ideally I shouldn't work weekends which is impossible in the job I do now. Plus I work shifts so childcare is difficult.

How do other people with kids manage?
I was wondering that myself. After 2 years at home I was reaaaally ready to go back to work but than I got pregnant again:p
I registered as self employed as this was the only option I could think of - my OH works from 10am till 11 pm incl weekends!
The childcare is a nightmare if there is no close relatives nearby!
so up till now I woke up early in the morning to take care of toddler for the whole day and worked after he goes sleep - not ideal I can tell you that! But you know what? You manage when you have to:beer:
Now I'm going to face toddler and the baby:eek:Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

That's what I'm thinking of. I'm already registered as self employed for tax purposes so working from home would be great. Just not sure what I could do. I'm worried that i wouldn't make enough money to cover my half of the bills I suppose.
Do you still do your business weronika?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
